Daxing District, a district under Beijing, is located in the south of Beijing. The new town is 13 kilometers north of the city center and is the nearest suburb to Beijing. It is one of the first key satellite cities in the capital approved by the State Council in 1984. Beijing Xincheng Yizhuang, that is, Beijing Economic and technological Development Zone. Daxing has a long history and has been established for more than 2400 years since the establishment of the county in the pre-Qin Dynasty. it is one of the earliest established counties in China. It was "the first city in the world" in the Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties. It belonged to Hebei Province before March 1958 and was decided by the 72nd meeting of the State Council on March 7, 1958. Daxing County will be transferred from Hebei Province to Beijing. In April of the same year, Jiugong, Yizhuang, Yinghai, Xihongmen and other places in Nanyuan District of Beijing were classified as Daxing, and the county was changed into a district. On January 7, 1960, it was changed to Daxing County.
