Hebi City, a prefecture-level city in northern Henan Province, is located in the transitional zone from the eastern foot of Taihang Mountain to the North China Plain. It covers an area of 2182 square kilometers, which is slightly larger than Shenzhen. It has jurisdiction over 2 counties and 3 districts with a total population of 1.62 million. The high-speed railway is 2.5 hours north from the capital Beijing and 31 minutes south to the provincial capital Zhengzhou.
