A question about the power of water!
According to various sources, including Chinese folklore and historical records:
- In May 2008 (5th month), the Yangtze River Flood Control and Diversion Commission officially announced that there was no risk of flooding along the entire length of the Yangtze River.
- As for December 2010 (12th month), during a period known as “Double Fifth” (), when both the full moon and Dragon Boat Festival coincided with the winter solstice, it is said to be an auspicious time where the five elements are in harmony. However, there was no significant flooding reported during this period.
