National Highway 318 has undergone continuous transformation and upgrading in recent years. The road from Chengdu to Kangding can now be driven quickly. After passing Litang to the border between Sichuan and Tibet, the road conditions are obviously not as good as before. Then enter Tibet and go to Lulang Nearby, the road conditions have become better again, especially the whole journey from Nyingchi to Lhasa, and the road grade from Lhasa to Shigatse is close to the expressway. From Shigatse further down to Nyalam, there is basically the old winding mountain road, but there is basically no problem in passing.
