In summer, skin can easily get injured so it’s advisable to apply sunscreen beforehand, wear sunhats, and dress in long sleeves and pants.

Generally speaking, inflatable rafts have a broader range of applications and are more widely used because they’re most common: small wooden boats are better suited for straight rivers with few bends or rocks; bamboo rafts work best for calm waters with little wind.
