Children over 130 can use a family ticket, right?

According to the regulations of China Railway Corporation, a child aged between 130 and 150 centimeters (51-59 inches) is considered an adult for fare purposes. Therefore, they are not eligible to use a children’s ticket (亲子票).

For travel on high-speed trains, passengers must show their ID card or passport at the time of purchase, which may impact the age classification.
