The ancient city wall of Chongzuo City located in Jiangzhou District, Chongzuo City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, within the ancient city scenic area. The Taiping Ancient City of Chongzuo has a long history dating back to 1372 when it was first built during the Ming dynasty’s Hongwu period. Its city wall is made up of earth and stone brick structures, with five gates: East Gate, South Gate, Small West Gate, Big West Gate, and North Gate.
Today, tourists can still visit the well-preserved ruins on Taiping Road, including parts of the ancient city walls, where they can see remnants such as the remains of the East Gate, Big West Gate, Small West Gate, and a section of wall approximately 1.36 kilometers long.
In 2018, local authorities restored part of the old city wall at its original site and created Taiping Ancient City Block. The block boasts 56 unique architectural features divided into three main areas: leisure and entertainment, cultural experiences, and home-stay tourism regions, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the grandeur of ancient times once again.

In 2018, local authorities rebuilt a section of the old city wall on its former site and created the Taiping Ancient City Street District.
The district features 56 characteristic architectural landscapes, divided into three main sections: leisure and entertainment, cultural experiences, and rural homestay vacations, recreating the grandeur and opulence of ancient times.
