There are direct buses: Guoguang Bus No. 1860, or Tonglian Bus No. 1623. There is a bus every half an hour, the fare is about NT$240-260, and the journey takes about 2.5 hours, directly to downtown Taichung.

Taoyuan Airport has Guoguang/Tonglian/Flying Dog buses to Taichung, and the shuttle bus is dense.
