The Zhennanguan Victory Memorial Site is located within the Fengxin Scenic Area in Chongzuo City, Guilin, Guangxi Autonomous Region. Fengxin Pass is a crucial pass in southern China and has been built since over 2,000 years ago during the Western Han Dynasty, previously known as Jilinguan, Darenjun, and Jiushouguan.

The Zhennanguan Victory was a major battle fought on March in an unnamed year in the Sino-French War. The Qing army defeated French invaders at Zhen Nan Pass (now Fengxin) and achieved a significant victory. Remaining within the site are well-preserved fortifications, cannons, secret bunkers, city walls, beacon towers, and storage pools used by Qinqiang soldiers. Additionally, there is an intricate sculpture group of Qinxian warriors united as one, fervently fighting for their country, and courageously killing enemies.

The Zhennanguan Victory Memorial Site is a national key cultural heritage protection unit, a national patriotic education demonstration base, and has significant historical and cultural value. Visitors can pay homage to the heroes who sacrificed themselves, recall history, and experience the indomitable spirit of resisting external invaders that defines modern Chinese nationalism.
The Zhennan Pass Battlefield Site is located within the Pingxiang Scenic Area of Chongzuo City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Friendship Pass is an important pass in Southern China’s frontier regions, with a history dating back over 2,000 years to the Western Han Dynasty, having been previously known as Jilingshan Pass, Datan Pass, and Jiexiuan Pass.

The Zhennan Pass Victory is a renowned battle that took place on March [18]85 (Qing Guangxu 11th year) during the Sino-French War. The Qing army defeated French invaders at present-day Friendship Pass in Guizhou Province, securing a significant victory. On site, you can still see well-preserved structures such as artillery emplacements, cannons, hidden passages, city walls, beacon towers and water storage pools used by Qing soldiers.

In addition to the above-mentioned historical remains, there are also sculptures of brave soldiers who fought with one heart, bathed in blood, and made sacrifices for their country. The site is designated a National Key Cultural Relic Protection Unit and an All-China Patriotic Education Demonstration Base, holding significant cultural and historical value.
