But now at the base camp, you can still walk to the boundary marker, which is the 8848-meter boundary marker.

The original Mount Everest Base Camp has been closed. You can stay at Rongbuk Monastery at night. There is a hotel here where you can eat hot pot. During the day, you can go to the Gaocheng Monument to take pictures.

Not closed, just set back 21 kilometers from the previous base camp. The border defense certificate must indicate the Ali area before you can go. However, generally speaking, the border defense certificates for Tibet are now applied to the whole territory of Tibet.

The current base camp is in Rongbuk Monastery. You can go to the former base camp to play, but you have to take a sightseeing bus and you cannot stay on it.
