Danzhou Haihua Island Rare and Characteristic Botanical Garden is located in the Three Streets of No. 1 Island, Haihua Island, Danzhou City, Hainan Province. It is a botanical garden that integrates rare plant viewing, flower exhibitions, theme activities, and popular science education. The botanical garden covers an area of about 74,000 square meters and currently has more than 200 species of various plants, including more than 40 species of rare and characteristic plants, such as Maitreya Buddha tree, rubber fig, pineapple tree, elephant leg tree, etc. There are “five areas and one pavilion” in the park, which are the main entrance area, flower field and sea area, shade plant area, rockery waterfall area, exotic flowers and fruits area and plant treasure hall.
