Jinghong, Daixiu Theater, what's that?

Daixiu Theater is an internationally standard modern science and technology theater, located in the Xishuangbanna Tourism and Holiday Resort in the northwestern part of Jinghong City, Xishuangbanna Prefecture, Yunnan Province. The theater is designed by Mr. Mark Fisher, an international top art master, with an investment exceeding 2 billion yuan and covering an area of 3.64 hectares. Its double-layered folding dome design takes the golden bamboo hat in traditional Dai culture as the prototype, and the design inspiration for the inclined roof comes from the artistic expression of the geometric shapes of palm leaves. It also echoes the style of inclined roofs in local Dai architecture. The hall roof incorporates tubular elements, which is a modern interpretation of the material of traditional Dai bamboo buildings, perfectly blending art and culture.
