The Elephant School is located in the Yexiang Valley Tropical Rainforest Scenic Area (southeast corner), Mengyang Town, Jinghong City, Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province. The Elephant School is the first elephant school in China, which is also the performance venue in the Wild Elephant Valley. There are 10 elephants here, the oldest is 33 years old and the youngest is 9 years old. In school, there are usually 2 elephant performances every afternoon, lasting about half an hour.
