The Zhou Enlai Prime Minister Monument is located in a rubber plantation behind the research building of the Tropical Crops Research Institute in Jinghong City, Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture, and is a key cultural relic protection unit at the provincial level. The monument garden was constructed in 1985, funded by the Tropical Crops Research Institute of Yunnan Province, with the design by the students and faculty of the School of Architecture at Tongji University in Shanghai, and was built by the engineering team of the Tropical Crops Research Institute according to the plans.
