The Maoming Shuidong Bay Ocean Park is located on the northern slope of Shuidong Bay, Nansha Peninsula, Dianbai District, Maoming City, and is a park with a circular seaside boardwalk as the main tour route. The boardwalk sometimes weaves through the dense mangrove forest, and at other times it runs along the seafront with a wide view. The park covers an area of approximately 45.3 hectares, including an entrance square, wetland boardwalk, water bridge, bird-watching houses, and other scenic and viewing facilities. The mangrove forest viewing area within the park features a wooden boardwalk that twists and turns for about 1,500 meters in length, where visitors can appreciate the unique scenery of the mangroves. Moreover, the Shuidong Bay Ocean Park is the largest contiguous area of artificially planted mangroves in China, and it is one of the three beautiful bays pilot projects in Guangdong Province and among the first batch of top ten bird-watching destinations in Guangdong Province.
