The Red Army Women’s Memorial Garden is a cultural and tourist area built to commemorate the Women’s Detachment of the Second Independent Division of the Red Army of the Workers’ and Peasants’ Republic of China, located in the central park of Jiaji Town, Qionghai City, Hainan Province. The total area of the memorial garden is 200 mu, and it was completed and opened on May 1, 2000. The garden features attractions such as the Peace Square, Memorial Square, Song and Dance Square, Coconut Forest Village, and the Red Army Women’s Memorial Exhibition Hall. In 2016, the garden was ordered to undergo rectification, and it was closed for improvement and transformation in 2021. On September 23, 2023, the Red Army Women’s Memorial Garden has been restored and remodeled, and it has reopened to welcome visitors, with free public access. The Red Army Women’s Memorial Garden became a national patriotic education demonstration base in 2001 and a national red tourism classic scenic area in 2005.
