If you start from Xi'an, it takes about 12 hours to get to Hukou and back. It is recommended to arrive at Linfen by bullet train one day in advance, and then carpool or charter a car to Hukou. The round-trip time is 6-7 hours. If it is a chartered car, Linfen will go to Hukou, and then to the Wang Family Courtyard. You can reach the ancient city of Pingyao at 7-8 pm. From Xi'an to Yan'an, you can take a long-distance bus at Xi'an Chengdong Passenger Station, or take a train at Xi'an Railway Station, or take a bullet train at Xi'an North Station. <br/>The South Bus Station opposite Yan'an Railway Station has two buses to Hukou Scenic Area around 8:00 every morning. After the visit, go through the Yellow River Bridge at the entrance of the scenic spot to the parking lot of the Shanxi scenic spot on the Shanxi side to find the Linfen or Jixian shuttle bus, and then transfer from Jixian or Linfen to Pingyao and Wang Family Courtyard. <br/>Finally to Taiyuan, back to Xi'an. <br/><br/>It is more convenient to drive by yourself. From Xi'an to Yan'an; on the second day, take the G65 speed across Tongchuan to Hukou Waterfall, after swimming, take the high speed to Lingshi, visit the Wang Family Courtyard, and stay overnight in Lingshi; on the third day, go to Pingyao. You can also live in Ji County after visiting Hukou Waterfall, and then stay in Pingyao after enjoying the Wang Family Courtyard.
