Day1: Start from Guangdong Province Museum-Guangzhou Library-Hai Xīn Shā-Pearl River Tower. The museum is closed on Mondays, so please make a prior reservation through our public account beforehand. After visiting the museum, walk along Hai Xin Shā and then take a boat across to the opposite pier for 2 hours of value-added fun! Afterwards, stroll down Yang Du’s tomb for some snacks or photos with the Pearl River in sight. You can also visit Baihe Bridge and head towards Guangzhou Tower from there. If you prefer not to take the boat ride on Hai Xin Shā, you can directly cross Qīng Xiào Footbridge and enjoy picnicking at Da Cao Di Wild Grass Area while sipping tea or taking a stroll around. In the evening, walk along the riverbank back to Guangzhou Tower for dinner and sightseeing.
Day2: Visit Chen Jia Ci then explore Beijing Road Pedestrian Street-Yong Qing Fang-Shacheng District. The visit will take about 1.5 hours at Chen Jiaci before heading to Beijing Road Pedestrian Street, where you can feel the old streets, food culture, and slow down your pace. Next, walk along Guangdong Pedestrian Lane-Staying in Xiāng’s neighborhood, feeling the West Bank atmosphere, then arrive in Shacheng District for a taste of exotic foreign flair
Day 1: First, take Metro Line 3 to Zhubai Station and get off. Then go to the Guangdong Museum, which is right next door; walk across the street from the library and you’ll reach Haitang Beach. After that, take APM Line to Tianhe Tower.
Day 2: Take Metro Line 1 to Huangsha Station and get off. Walk around for about 10 minutes on Sha Men and then arrive at Yong Qing Fang. Then, take Metro Line 1 again to Chan Jia Ci Station, exit C and it’s directly in front of you; after that, visit Beijing Lu, which is the last stop from Zhubai Road and gets off at Wugu Street.
The route is good, all on schedule. I suggest you can go for an early tea on the first day, although it’s a bit pricey over there, but the environment is good and not many people, with a great experience. On the second day, go try some snacks, braised beef, hand-pulled noodles, wontons, boiling rice etc. That area is in the old town district, the food is much more traditional than Tianhe’s, it’s an authentic Guangzhou flavor, you must eat when coming to Guangzhou!

Tourist attractions in Guangzhou City areas: which ones to visit and how
Day 1: Depart from Guangdong Museum of Art - Haixinsha Beach - Canton Tower. Note that Mondays are closed and advance reservations are required! After visiting, take a stroll along Guangzhou Library on Haixinsha Street, where you can relax at the riverside promenade or even take a boat ride to the opposite pier for an unbeatable 2:1 ratio. Afterwards, head towards Zhongda Pier and walk along the riverbank to capture stunning views of the Pearl River and Canton Tower. If you don’t want to take the boat ride, simply cross Haixin Bridge from the west bank of the river, enjoy a picnic on the green grass, take in the breeze, and appreciate the distant views of the river and the tower at sunset. Finally, dine and sightsee atop the tower.
Day 2: Visit Chen Family Temple - Beijiao Pedestrian Street - Yongqing Fang - Sand Hill Streets. Approximately 1.5 hours after visiting Chen Family Temple, explore Beijing Road Pedestrian Street to experience traditional architecture, food culture, and slow-paced lifestyle. Then head to Shangxiajiu District’s Yong Qingfang to appreciate the unique charm of Xi Kang (West Bank). Finally, immerse yourself in the exotic atmosphere of Sand Hill Streets.
Day 1: First take subway line 3 to Zhujiafang Station, then go to Guangdong Museum and Library adjacent. Crossing the street from library to Haitan Beach for some strolling around. After finishing, take APM Line to Canton Tower.
Day 2: Take Subway line 1 at Huangsha station, walk around Xiaomen after arrival, about a 10-minute stroll away is Yongqingfang shopping mall. Then take subway line 1 again to Chen Ji Ci Station’s C exit steps out directly onto the street of Chen Ji Ci Museum grounds. After viewing, catch another train to get off at Guangyuanqian station for some final strolling to Beijing Lu.
The route is okay, all on time, I suggest you can go for a early tea on the first day, although it’s a bit pricey there, but the environment is good, people are few, and the experience is great. On the second day, go try some snacks, beef balls, lamb shanks, wontons noodles, cooked rice etc., that area is an old district zone, food is much more traditional than Tianhe Zone, it’s a taste of old Guangzhou City, must eat when you come to Guangzhou!
