My initial plan is from Hualien (Taroko) to Nantou (Sun Moon Lake) to Chiayi (Alishan). What is the traffic from Nantou to Chiayi? How much time is needed? Is it feasible to go directly from Nantou to Chiayi and then to Alishan in the morning? Is it convenient to go up the mountain with luggage? What is the traffic from Chiayi to Kenting and how long does it take? Is there a bus from Kenting to Taipei? How long is the journey?
