The Maple Deer Farm is located 27 kilometers southwest of Tunchang County, at the 111th kilometer of the central line of the Hainan Island Highway, and is one of the largest comprehensive deer farms in southern China. It raises over 700 deer, including the Chinese spotted deer, water deer, elk, sika deer, moose, and golden deer. The farm is surrounded by water on three sides, with coconut groves on the peninsula that shimmer with greenery and lush grass. The wonderfully designed buildings, together with the deer, create an enchanting and interesting fairyland. Here was once one of the largest comprehensive deer farms in southern China, raising over 700 Chinese spotted deer, water deer, elk, sika deer, moose, and golden deer. In the past, visitors could buy sweet potato slices to feed the deer for fun, take photos with the domesticated deer herd, and even purchase deer series beauty products to prevent aging. However, now, the part of the farm that can be visited is in a state of serious dilapidation, with a poor environment, making it unsuitable for visits.
