Nanuo Township is located in the southeast of Yuanjiang County, Yuxi City, Yunnan Province. The township is connected to the Nanhun Village Committee of Lijiang Town in Yuanjiang County in the east, the Nilang River and Shapoliangzi in the north, and adjacent to Yangjie Township in Yuanjiang County. The Nanhun River is the natural boundary in the southeast and south, and it is bounded by the Red River. Dayangjie Township and Chegu Township in Honghe County face each other across the water. To the west, Meipu Village of Langshu Village Committee borders Chegu Township in Honghe County. Nanuo Village, the seat of the township government, is 66 kilometers away from the county seat.
