What does the hotel guarantee deposit mean?

The hotel needs you to provide a guarantee due to the shortage of room availability and other issues. After the guarantee, the room will be reserved until 12:00 noon the next day. The specific time is subject to the hotel's reminder. <br/>After you arrive at the hotel for the guaranteed order, you still need to pay the normal room rate and deposit; the guaranteed amount will be refunded within 3 working days after the order is reviewed and confirmed.

If it is a guaranteed room type, in order to reduce no-shows when the room is tight, some hotels will require guests to provide a credit card as a guarantee. After the guarantee is provided, the room will always be reserved for the guest that night, and the room fee will still be paid by the front desk. After you leave the hotel, Ctrip will review your check-in with the hotel. If you check in, the guarantee amount will be refunded.
