There are grottoes in the Northern Dynasties on the island in the middle of Fudi Lake. The grotto has a square flat roof, with a depth of 1.25 meters, a width of 1.78 meters and a height of 1.29 meters. There are niche statues carved in the center and on the left and right walls of the grotto. In the central niche, Sakyamuni Buddha sits in lotus lotus, and at the bottom left is carved a donor who kneels and worships the Buddha in front of the Boshan stove. The inscription on the right side of the niche can be seen in the first line of the inscription "Yimao, the first year of the Western Wei Dynasty, and the seventh month of Yimao". It provides direct evidence for judging the excavation age of the cave. In the large pointed arched niche in the center of the right wall of the grotto, there is a statue of an old gentleman sitting cross-legged holding a plantain, and Taoist priests standing on the left and right holding a wat. There are 10 busts carved in relief in the lintel of the niche, on which are 7 flying apsaras holding konghou, sheng, pipa, flute, flute, waist drum and long drum, which have important historical and artistic value. In particular, Buddha statues and Taoist statues are located in the same cave, making Fudi Grottoes one of the earliest "double religion caves" in my country that enshrines both Buddha statues and Taoist statues. In order to better protect the grottoes, the cultural relics department of Yijun County has cut up the grottoes as a whole and moved them to the Yijun County Cultural Center for collection.
