The Kuqa Palace, also known as “Kuqa Hereditary Kinsfolk Prince’s Residence”, is located in the city district of Kuqa City, Xinjiang. It was built specifically to commemorate the achievements of Dai Wang, the local Uighur tribe leader who helped quell a rebellion led by Ehmetjan Kasim and Tavarghoz in 1759, during the Qing dynasty. The palace features main attractions including the Palace Exposition Zone and the Kizil Museum Exposition Zone. In the early 20th century, only parts of the original “Kuqa Palace” remained, with walls and some buildings remaining intact. It was not until 2004 that Kuqa City Government invested RMB 1,300 million to rebuild the palace on its original site according to the recollections of Dawa Tiebao Buyisu.
The entire name of the Ku’erchu Palace is “Ku’erchu Hereditary King’s Court”, located in the urban area of Kuchek city, Xinjiang. It was specifically built by craftsmen from inland Han tribes for Emperoof Qing and Emperor of Yan. The palace mainly features a royal court district and Gaochang Museum exhibition hall.

In the early 20th century, only part of the “Ku’erchu Palace” buildings and walls remained, but in 2004, Kuche City Government invested 13 million yuan to rebuild the “Ku’er Chu King’s Court” according to Dawahti Buyisuati’s remembrances.
