Shiniu Mountain is located in Shuikou Town in the northeastern part of Dehua County, Fujian Province, about 40 kilometers away from the county seat, 150 kilometers away from Quanzhou City, 176 kilometers away from Xiamen, and 195 kilometers away from Fuzhou City. It is 1,782 meters above sea level and is named after the boulder on the main peak that looks like a cow looking up to the sky and roaring. Shiniushan is a typical and complete radial volcanic collapse basin with rich geological relic resources such as subvolcanic rock landforms. It is one of the two radial ancient volcanic eruptions in China. Shiniu Mountain is a national AAAA-level scenic spot, a national geological park and a forest park. It is known as “the best mountain with strange rocks in the world” and “the best mountain with sunrise in Fujian”. The scenic area includes major attractions such as Daixian Waterfall, Shiniu Mountain Geological Museum, Shihu Ancestral Hall, the Wizard of Oz, and the top of Shiniu Mountain. Daixian Waterfall consists of Daixian Waterfall, known as “the first waterfall in East China”, and the gentle Youleupiao Waterfall. With a single-level drop of 184 meters, it is one of the few super-large waterfalls in Fujian in the country and one of the “Eighteen Scenic Spots in Quanzhou”. Preferential tickets (children/students/seniors/teachers): 1) Children (including 6 years old) with a height of 1.2 meters (inclusive) or above and 1.4 meters (exclusive) below; 2) Students (with domestic full-time undergraduate degree or below) Academic student ID card), those who are under 18 years old without a student ID card must present their ID card; 3) Seniors over 60 years old (inclusive) and under 70 years old (with their ID card); 4) People’s teachers (with their teacher qualification certificate)
