Would a passport be stamped upon entering and exiting Schengen countries?

Movement between Schengen countries is not stamped. If entering Schengen countries from within the country is stamped.
Schengen Area countries: No entry and exit stamps when entering and exiting the Schengen Area. Non-Schengen Area countries: Stamps will be stamped for entry and exit when entering and exiting the Schengen Area.
The entry and exit should be stamped on the passport, but for visas with longer stay periods in the destination country, there’s no issue with where you enter or exit. For example, when applying for an Italian visa, a passport stamp upon entering or exiting the Netherlands is sufficient.
