Urgent notice on border defense certificate:
1. According to the Tibet Public Security Frontier Defense Notice, from March 1, 2021, tourists going to Medog County must hold a border defense pass. Therefore, registration for this route requires tourists to register at the public security center where their household registration is located (with ID card or household registration booklet or residence permit ) can only go to Medog after obtaining the border defense certificate. The frontier defense certificate needs to write "Medog County, Nyingchi City". Sorry for the inconvenience.
2. If it is difficult to apply for a border defense certificate in the Mainland, we can apply for this route in Lhasa for free. The processing time is uncertain, and you need to follow the arrangement of the staff, and then leave for Nyingchi. Please know!
