Royal Yellow Temple - Bodhisattva Top
Bodhisattva Peak (Manchu) is located on Lingjiu Peak in the central area of Taihuai Town, Wutai Mountain. According to legend, it is the place where Manjusri Bodhisattva lives. It is commonly known as Zhenrongyuan or Dawenshu Temple locally. The temple was founded in the reign of Emperor Xiaowen of the Northern Wei Dynasty (471-499). In the 17th year of Shunzhi in the Qing Dynasty (1660), the top of the Bodhisattva was changed from a green temple (a Chinese Buddhist temple) to a yellow temple (a Tibetan Buddhist temple), and it was sent from Beijing. Went to the Abbot Lama. During the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty, the "Panhan Admiral Seal" was awarded to the temple. From then on, the main hall of Bodhisattva was paved with yellow glazed tiles representing imperial power, and the archway in front of the mountain gate was also built in the form of four pillars and seven floors.
