1. The Duku Highway is a mountainous road with good road conditions, but the road is narrow with many bends and prone to motion sickness. Please prepare motion sickness medicine in advance;
2. Parking is not allowed on mountainous roads, and the driver will stop at a safe viewing spot to take pictures;
3. The Duku Highway is more than 3,000 meters above sea level. Please prepare thick clothes in advance when the temperature drops;
4. Due to the influence of the weather, the Duku Highway can only be used from June to mid-September every year. In case of special weather, the local traffic control department will take road closure measures to ensure safety. In case of road closure, it will not be possible to pass through Duku Highway, you can only return to Urumqi by detour, and the driving distance and time will increase.
Option 1: Return from the direction of Hejing County along the G218 National Highway,
Option 2: The G218 national highway is also closed, so you can only choose to return to Nalati and Yining City. If you can’t reach Urumqi on the day, you can take a plane from Nalati Airport, or take a plane or train in Yining City to leave the group. The road closure is a force majeure factor, and the train or air ticket costs incurred shall be borne by the tourists themselves; if they need to return with the train the next day, the tourists shall bear the board and lodging expenses on the day.
