Xiaoluoshui Village is located at the foot of Goddess Gemu Mountain in the northwest of Lugu Lake. It is in a small valley surrounded by mountains on three sides and facing Lugu Lake on one side. On the left is Yang Erche Namu's mother's house, and on the right is Nisai under Jingtang Mountain. village. It is one of the oldest villages of the Mosuo tribe.
The tourism here in Xiaoluoshui Village was developed a little later, and the traditional Mosuo well-dried wooden houses are still preserved in the village, and the original ecological Mosuo folk customs are still intact. The village is located in a bay of Lugu Lake. In front of the bay is Lise Island, which has a beautiful scenery. There are fewer tourist inns here, but the prices are more expensive. There are also fewer shops and restaurants, making travel and life less convenient. But because few people came, it was very quiet. The neighboring villages of Xiaoluoshui Village are Dazui Village of the Naxi people by the lake and Nisai Village of the Lover Tree. Most of the accommodation and catering shops in Xiaoluoshui Village are located on both sides of the road, and there is still a distance from the water surface of Lugu Lake (there is a gentle slope down the mountain). Because it is close to the road, the living environment is a bit noisy. Walking into the village, there are also several inns and hotels near the water, but the prices are more expensive.
Xiaoluoshui Village is the last village beside Lugu Lake in Yunnan. The border between Yunnan and Sichuan is at the entrance of the village. The road around the lake is obviously cut in two: the road under the jurisdiction of Yunnan is slightly worse and narrower. The road in Sichuan seems to be wider and flatter, more comfortable. The ancient residential buildings in the village and the original Mosuo style have been preserved intact. In recent years, the village has been opened to the outside world and has become a good place for tourists to experience the Mosuo style.
