Lugu Lake Daluoshui Village
Daluoshui Village is located on the side of the road from Zhudi Village to Caohai, adjacent to Lugu Lake. In Daluoshui, there is the passenger bus station of Lugu Lake Scenic Area in Yunnan, and the passenger buses and travel agency buses coming from Lijiang to Lugu Lake Scenic Area also stop here. Those who travel with groups basically stay here. Therefore, Daluoshui is a must-see and must-stay place for most tourists who come to Lugu Lake from Lijiang.
Daluoshui Village is divided into Shangluoshui and Xialuoshui. On the west side of the road, there is a small group of houses called Shangluoshui. The houses here are relatively old. On the east side of the highway, there is a group of tall houses close to the lakeside called Xiangshuishui. Due to the development of tourism, there are already several floors of modern residential buildings here. Regardless of the old dwellings that fell into the water or the new dwellings that fell into the water, they are all wooden structures. The whole house is covered with wooden boards and stones are pressed on it. The whole house does not need a nail or bricks. It is not only warm in winter and cool in summer, but also uses wedges to prevent earthquakes.
Daluoshui is the earliest area of tourism development in the entire Lugu Lake. The streets are arranged along the lake, with the lake on one side and houses next to each other on the other side. Hotels, inns, restaurants, and shops are all available. Every family has a spacious backyard, which contains the grandmother's house, scripture hall, living room and kitchen. Walking slowly by the lake, I still want to find some old homestay buildings along the way, but many courtyards have been remodeled, and it is difficult to find traces of older buildings, all of which are newly built or renovated.
Daluoshui is also a good place to watch the sunrise. When the first ray of sunlight hits the lake from the east, the whole world looks more peaceful and serene. The golden sunlight is dotted on the surface of the lake, refracted to the mani pile, and the stupa is also shining golden. People are taking pictures in various poses, some are hugging the sun, some are holding the sun up, some are kissing the sun... A little boy with the appearance of a student called me old man and asked me to take a picture for him. Said that I have entered the aging stage.
