In a blink of an eye, my daughter is already 9 years old and in the second grade of elementary school. When the child grows up, she should be taken out to get to know the society and nature. On March 21, 2019, our family of three embarked on a trip to Beijing. At 21 o'clock in the evening, we boarded the K54 train from Shenyang North Station. The reason why the train sleeper is considered is that the journey to the airport is too far and inconvenient, and we went out for a short trip for a total of 3 days. The time is limited and we are afraid that the flight time delay will affect the itinerary. This train can rest after getting on the train, and it will arrive in Beijing early on March 22 without delay. Before, her daughter took trains for short distances and never took a sleeper, and sleeper cars were new to her. I am the head of the family, and I volunteered to live in the upper bunk. There were no railings on the lower bunk. I was afraid that my daughter would fall if she lived on the lower bunk, so I put my daughter on the middle bunk and my wife on the lower bunk. The three of us slept all the way to Beijing Railway Station.
March 22 itinerary: Badaling Great Wall, Guijie Street.
At 7 am on March 22, the train arrived at Beijing Railway Station on time. Since we are going to the Badaling Great Wall this morning, the breakfast we had on the train was to save time!
The first thing you do when you get off the train is to take pictures. The second thing is to get three subway passes. You can take the subway and bus multiple times. You can handle it with your ID card. The deposit is 50, which is very convenient for transportation in the city.
The accommodation is set at the Oriental Way Hotel next to the East Gate of the Temple of Heaven. It is recommended by relatives and booked online. The price-performance ratio is super high. After storing our luggage in the hotel, we took Line 2 to Deshengmenwai Street, changed to bus No. 877, and arrived at the foot of the Great Wall.
At the foot of the Great Wall, my daughter met a little brother from Pingdingshan, Henan, and they were very happy to play together. They are going to climb the Great Wall together. We parents are also happy to do this, so we can save our children from carrying them for a while.
Considering that the Great Wall in the south is relatively short, it was decided to go north.
If you don't go to the Great Wall in person, the Great Wall can only be hidden in your heart forever.
The two children are eager to try, full of energy, and want to be a hero once.
Behind the boy is his father, a simple and lovely big brother from Henan.
The daughter-in-law is afraid of heights, so she only went up to the fourth floor on the north side, and then went down the mountain.
Although it is March, the flowers are already blooming in Beijing. But it was still very cold on the Great Wall. We wore thick clothes, and we didn’t feel too hot all the way down.
Although children of the same age have different accents, they quickly become familiar with each other.
Although the Great Wall in this season is not as crowded as tourists, there are still many.
To take a picture, you must take a pose.
Take a break when you are thirsty and tired.
This section has no steps and is still very steep.
Soon came to the north 6th floor, only less than halfway. Although the back is to the 12th floor in the north, the length and steepness of the road are not comparable to those in the front.
The two children refused to give in to each other, and they chased after each other.
There are few people here, let my brother take a picture for me! Thank you brother.
If you don't reach the Great Wall, you are not a hero!
The Great Wall will never fall down, and the Yellow River will flow for thousands of miles!
The two little friends have gained a lot of friendship!
Daughter had a great time!
The two little ones were thirsty, so we found a place sheltered from the wind to rest for a while and replenish water and food.
The boy's eyes are piercing!
It's easy to go up, but hard to come down!
Looking back, although there are steps, it is still very steep. There are many such road sections after the north 8th floor.
The daughter yelled and rushed down, be careful!
In my memory, it seems that there is no road on the north seventh floor, and it came down from the side road.
Now that the name is engraved on the brick, why not move to your own home?
Finally reached the end of the north.
On the way back, the two little guys slept soundly in the car. The eldest brother and sister-in-law got off the bus with the children first. After we arrived at the 877 terminal, we went directly to Guijie Street. Featured snacks: hot-boiled mutton, stewed and roasted.
March 23 itinerary: Tiananmen Square, Chairman Mao Memorial Hall, Monument to the People's Heroes, Great Hall of the People, Palace Museum, Beijing Planetarium
Yesterday, the two children had a great time playing, but they were also very tired. I originally planned to watch the flag-raising ceremony at 4 o'clock this morning, but neither my wife nor my daughter woke up, so I had to sleep until 7 o'clock. After washing and tidying up, there is a community cafeteria not far from the hotel gate and turning left. It is convenient and hygienic in the supermarket. When we were full, we hurriedly set off towards Tiananmen Square.
The first thing is to look up to our great leader Chairman Mao. We got off at Qianmen Station of Metro Line 1, and we were all stunned when we arrived at the square. There was a long queue here, and people from all over the country spontaneously came here to pay tribute to the great leader Chairman Mao. Later we learned that during the two sessions, the Memorial Hall was closed to the public, so there were a lot of people during this period. I was looking at bags outside, and my wife took my daughter to the memorial hall.
The sacred Monument to the People's Heroes has been seen in textbooks and on TV before.
The majestic Great Hall of the People.
Although it is not the tourist season, the square is still crowded with people. Because this is the heart of our country.
I originally planned to go to the National Museum together, but because it was closed to the public, I had to visit the Forbidden City.
My daughter has no concept of the Forbidden City, but she still looks at these cultural relics again and again.
These historical monuments and royal palaces still need some historical and cultural accumulation to understand.
I explained this to my daughter in detail.
Both the national flag and the headgear were bought at the cultural goods store of the Forbidden City, and my daughter likes it very much.
Later, when my daughter was tired, we had a simple lunch and then went to the Beijing Planetarium.
Before, my daughter knew about astronomy, that is, I took her to observe the lunar eclipse together, and the knowledge related to astronomy was relatively small.
The Beijing Planetarium is not big, and it displays the basic knowledge and pictures of astronomy, which is suitable for children of this age.
Later, I took my daughter to watch a 4D dome movie.
Generally speaking, the daughter does not show a strong interest in astronomy at present.
Dinner is at Wangfujing Snack Street. I didn’t go to Quanjude to eat roast duck, so I ordered a set meal of roast duck, fried belly and braised noodles here.
March 24 itinerary: Peking University, Tsinghua University, China Science and Technology Museum, Niujie, return.
I did a guide before and learned that Peking University and Tsinghua University need to make online reservations in advance during summer and winter vacations. I didn’t expect to learn that at the gate of Peking University, reservations are also required for weekend visits. So I took out my mobile phone and made an appointment immediately, and learned that Peking University cannot make an appointment on the same day. It turned out that Tsinghua University was acceptable, so I decisively gave up the idea of visiting Peking University and went directly to Tsinghua University. Fortunately, not many people visited today.
It's my first time to take my daughter to visit the best university in China, so let's take it as a cultural influence!
Shushan has roads as its path.
Reading break rolls, getting a God.
The Tsinghua campus in early spring is full of vitality.
This blooming flower is full of life.
The predecessor of Tsinghua University.
A place where many students yearn for.
A stone statue of Professor Zhu Ziqing. If you haven't seen him, read his article first.
Shuimu Tsinghua thought of that combination.
ancient architecture
At noon, I ate in the student cafeteria of Tsinghua University, and the taste was not bad. In the afternoon, I went directly to the China Science and Technology Museum.
My favorite is smug.
The China Science and Technology Museum is very good, very suitable for children of this age, and it is a kind of enlightenment for children.
Zhang Heng's seismograph model
I also met students from China Chemical Industry University doing experiments to popularize chemical knowledge here.
To the south is the bird's nest. My daughter is really tired. Let's rest on my back for a while!
We reluctantly left the China Science and Technology Museum.
In the evening, we went to Niujie to eat halal noodles, which tasted very good.
Go back to the hotel to pack your luggage and return to Beijing Railway Station. Arrived home safely on the morning of March 25.
Suggestion: When taking children out for a trip, when arranging the itinerary, you should take into account factors such as the child's age, physical strength, knowledge reserve, hobbies, etc., in order to receive good results. The itinerary should not be overcrowded.
