We originally planned to drive through Zhangjiakou and Chengde to the Northeast, take a trip from Dandong to North Korea, and return to Tianjin. In order to fulfill their wish to live in Yintan for a while, we redesigned a new route.
A group of 6 people was divided into two groups, 4 of them drove (7 seats) 10 days in advance to go to Yintan for vacation, and then our couple took the train to Yantai to meet them and start the trip to the Northeast.

The train station is very close to Yantai Mountain, and it takes more than 20 minutes to walk there, so we didn't ask friends to pick us up when we got out of the station. Let's play by ourselves first and let our friends sleep for a while.
Yantai is really hot. I saw a bus on the side of the road going to Moon Bay, which is also the place I want to play, so I went up. The bus in Yantai is not air-conditioned. What a big surprise!

The distance from Dandong to North Korea is only as long as a bridge, just across the Yalu River. To leave the country in Dandong, you need to register at the local travel agency 2-4 days in advance, and meet one day in advance.

The full name of the Little Potala Palace is the Temple of Putuo Zongcheng. It was built by Emperor Qianlong for his mother's birthday. It is the residence of the 5th Dalai Lama.

In order to grandly welcome the arrival of the sixth Panchen Lama, Emperor Qianlong built the Xumi Fushou Temple in imitation of Tashilhunpo Monastery in Shigatse for the sixth Panchen Lama to lecture and live in. Therefore, this temple is also called "Panchen Palace".
The first half of the temple is in Han style, which has the characteristics of traditional Han Buddhist temples; the second half is in Tibetan style, imitating the Sangyuan Temple in Tibet, and the two different styles of buildings are integrated into one.
