Two years ago, I was deeply attracted by watching the promotional video of Xinjiang Cycling Tournament organized by Tianya Meijiang. Until this year, after the announcement of the 4th Tianya U.S. Xinjiang Cycling Tournament came out, I signed up without hesitation. I also brought my wife Desao and my wife’s friend TT to experience the beautiful Xinjiang cycling event.
I am contented, and everyone calls me "Uncle De". With 12 years of riding experience, I have ridden Sichuan-Tibet 318, and riding in Xinjiang is also my dream for many years. The most beautiful scenic spot cycling event in Xinjiang organized by Tianya Meijiang is compatible with competitive sightseeing. It can not only compete with other masters to observe and study on the same road, but also visit the local beauty.
Xinjiang occupies one-sixth of my country's area. Although the six-day cycling route is only a small corner on the map of Xinjiang - Yili Prefecture, it can cover the most beautiful scenery near the Tianshan Mountains, enough for us to experience mountains, lakes, grasslands, snow mountains, Meadows, flowers, pastures, natural scenery, panoramic view.
On July 26, we set off. Due to the weather, the flight from Nantong to Taiyuan was delayed for 3 hours, and I will definitely not be able to catch up with the flight from Taiyuan to Urumqi. Contact the ticket purchaser in a hurry to plan to change or apply for another flight. Once you can't reach Urumqi late at night, the itinerary for the next day will be completely disrupted. Just at the time of confusion, the ticket issuer called to inform that the connecting flight from Taiyuan to Urumqi was delayed for nearly 3 hours, and it was up to luck to catch up on time. In the end, luck still favored us.
From Urumqi, take a train for nearly 4 and a half hours to the assembly destination, Bole City, Bortala Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture.
The geographical feature of Xinjiang is "three mountains and two basins". The northernmost part of Xinjiang is the Altai Mountains, the central part is the Tianshan Mountains, and the southernmost part is the Kunlun Mountains. Between the Altai Mountains and the Tianshan Mountains is the Junggar Basin. Today's track is not in the most typical scenic spot of Kalajun. It starts from the yurt accommodation. After starting, it starts to climb slowly for about 15 kilometers. "Kanas" is Mongolian, meaning "beautiful and mysterious lake". It is the deepest moraine barrier lake in China. It is an alpine lake and inland freshwater lake located in the dense forest of Altai mountains. Kanas blue sky, white clouds, ice peaks, snowy mountains, forests, meadows, rivers and Kanas Lake complement each other, and the lakes and mountains are integrated into one. Scenic and superb scenery such as Yunhai Buddha Light, Color-changing Lake, Driftwood Causeway, and Lake Monster are known as the best and fairy scenery in the Western Regions.
