"Bashang" is the heart knot that every photographer can't get rid of. In summer, the sky is blue, the grass is green, the clouds and flowers are beautiful, and the wild fragrance is fragrant; The airy birch forest gradually becomes golden, the mountains and valleys are colorful, and the meadows are flocks of cattle and sheep. The wind blows your face, and you can smell the fragrance of autumn; Wax elephants, village smoke, fences, cattle, sheep and dogs on the vast snowfield constitute a charming scenery of the Northland.

As a Nanjing native, I have experienced a lot of snow. Every year, there are several snowfalls in Nanjing, but I have never experienced the extremely cold snow scene that is difficult to walk and dripping. How much I want to be happy in the north Scatter back into the wild in the snow. So at the end of 2019, I signed up to participate in the Bashang winter photography group of a certain website.

The temperature on the dam in winter is close to minus 30°C, coupled with the howling north wind, according to the team leader, the body feeling is definitely better than that of Arctic Village. For this trip, I brought almost all my warm clothes, thermal underwear, I brought four pieces of woolen sweater, woolen vest, down vest, down jacket, jacket, and long johns. Before leaving, I bought snow jackets online. Everything is ready, and I am waiting for the day of departure.

After arriving in Beijing in the early morning of December 29th, I first went to the hotel to check in. After unloading the heavy luggage, I packed lightly and went to Tiananmen Square to watch the flag-raising ceremony. Due to the security check, it took some time. When I arrived at the flag-raising place, the ceremony It's over, so I walked around the square hastily, and then headed to Zhongshan Park.

Then I walked to the northwest and northeast corners of the Forbidden City. This is a classic shooting location in Beijing. However, today's smog is heavy and the river is frozen, so the light and shadow effects are not ideal.

Next, I went to climb Jingshan Park. I wanted to take a panoramic view of the Forbidden City, but I had to give up because the air was not transparent enough. There are some persimmon trees planted at the west gate of Jingshan Park, and the unpicked persimmons have become a delicacy for the birds in winter.

I haven't been to the nearby Beihai Park for decades, so I visited again this time.

After coming out of Beihai Park, I transferred to the bus and subway to the Summer Palace.

This time I came to the Summer Palace for only one purpose, which is to shoot the golden light perforation of the 17-hole bridge. Every year around the winter solstice, the 17-hole bridge in the Summer Palace will have the spectacle of "golden light piercing the hole". Under the afterglow of the setting sun, every hole of the 17-hole bridge has a golden light. Taking pictures of this landscape has naturally become a great pleasure for photographers.

I walked all the way from the North Palace Gate of the Summer Palace, and when I arrived at the shooting location of the 17-hole bridge golden light piercing hole, it was less than 2 o'clock in the afternoon, and there were at least 2 hours before the real shooting time. At this time, people gathered in twos and threes beside the guardrail Photographers, everyone is braving the cold wind and looking forward to the early arrival of the shooting time.

As time passed, the clouds in the sky became thicker and thicker, and the bridge hole, which had some thin light, finally became pitch black. After staying up until 16:30, seeing that the sun was too much to shine through, I reluctantly packed up and left.

Early the next morning, we set off for the dam. After changing to a local minibus in the paddock, we traveled all the way to Ulan Butong carefully through the snow. When we arrived at the back mountain of Aobao, the sun had already set, and it was too late to climb up the nearby hills, so we took a few photos near Baicao Aobao.

In the evening, the event organizer entertained everyone to have a sumptuous dinner at Tianhong Hotel. Also starting today, our 10 photographers in one car automatically formed a table. Under the leadership of "Yangjiang Lao Mo", who is in charge of humor and atmosphere, we can shoot food and food without any mistakes. , laughing about life. After eating at Tianhong for two nights, the group member "Qianc" found the "Xiao Niu Restaurant" which was ranked No. 1 on a review, and everyone went there for another two nights.

The difference between a photography group and a tour group is that they need to get up early in the morning to take pictures of the sunrise and sunset, and return to the hotel to catch up on sleep during the strong light period around noon. The photography groups that you often see on the Internet are usually a group of people around a target, and a voice shouts: "Aperture XX, shutter speed XX, sensitivity 100, start shooting", it is us, but we What was a little different this time was that I met Han Kai, a master photographer, who not only provided on-site guidance, but also used other time to teach everyone to improve.

Before writing travel notes, I saw a poem by Tagore quoted by Xiaohu in Qunli: "No matter how long the tree shadow at dusk drags, it can't leave the root of the tree. No matter how far you go, you can't get out of my heart." This poem It is very suitable as the label of my title picture, so I stole it as the opening remarks of my picture.

Sunrise at Dufenggou

The morning in the wind ditch is the day when the body feels the lowest temperature. It is so cold that people's fingers are stinging, and the hot air they exhale freezes immediately, and it feels like ice slag is sticking the upper and lower eyelids together. Thick ice also formed on the river, and the thin snow on it left traces of my presence.
