Day 22, May 4th, Gansu Minle to Qinghai Xining

Take the Xizhang Line G227 and cross the Qilian Mountains. There are many beautiful scenery along the way. Although there are no rape flowers, there are snow mountains, grasslands, cattle and sheep, rivers, reservoirs, etc. The highest altitude of Jingyangling Yakou is 3,767 meters. The winding road, up and down , stop and go, the scenery is on the road, 270 kilometers, usually 5:06, and 6:40, it is indeed one of the most beautiful roads in China.

Day 23, May 5, Jianza
Xining to Kanbula National Forest Park, Jianzha County, Huangnan Prefecture: 106 kilometers, 1:32.
Today is the last day of the May Day holiday, and it is also the last day to enjoy free high speed.
Cambra National Forest: 4A
Tickets: 50, scenic car: 100. There is no service now, and you can drive in and play by yourself, saving the ticket money.
In Qinghai, it is rare to have such a perfect combination of mountains and water. It is known as one of the most popular scenic spots besides Qinghai Lake and Kumbum Monastery.
There are peculiar Danxia landforms, rich vegetation, a long-standing religious atmosphere and folk customs in Tibetan areas, as well as the Lijiaxia Hydropower Station.
Famous for its Danxia landform, the scenic spot has a large area, centered on the Yellow River Reservoir formed by the Lijiaxia Dam, surrounded by red and steep Danxia landform peaks, the scenery is very spectacular. The Lijiaxia dam is 175 meters high. It is a large-scale hydropower station in the upper reaches of the Yellow River. The Lijiaxia Reservoir formed by the dam is green and clear, reflecting the red and bright Danxia landforms on the bank. The landscape consists of 18 conical peaks.
From Cambula to Jianzha County: 39 kilometers, 0:48

Jianzha is a small county on the bank of the Yellow River. The clear water of the Yellow River flows around the county, and the Danxia landform is on the bank.
Huanghe Road and Renmin Street are the main arterial roads.
Day 24, May 6
Jianzha County to Qianhu Compound in Angla Township: 10 kilometers, 0:25
Angla Thousand-Family Mansion: Located in Angla Township in the south, 10 kilometers away from the county seat, it is a hidden Tibetan-style noble courtyard in the mountains. The typical Danxia landform can be seen on the road.
Jianzha Qianhuyuan to Tongren County: 67 kilometers, 1:11
Highway tolls will resume from today. In fact, it is better to take the national highway in these places. It is really not afraid of paying high-speed tolls, the scenery is on the road. Walking and watching, beautiful scenery everywhere, surprises again and again, stop as soon as possible, take a look, take a few pictures, actually walked for 4 hours.

1. Longwu Temple:

It was first built in the Yuan Dynasty and has a history of more than 600 years. It is the temple with a long history, the largest scale and the most brilliant architectural art in the Tongren area. It is the religious and cultural center of Huangnan, governing the political and religious affairs of the entire Regong area. It is the third largest monastery in Tibetan Buddhism, second only to Labrador Monastery and Taer Monastery in terms of size, status and influence in Amdo Tibetan area. There are not only magnificent and gorgeous Tibetan Buddhist monastery complexes, but also many exquisite Thangka works.
Tibetan temples are solemn and majestic. resplendent.
Longwu Temple has a large area, and it takes three hours to visit it all.
Outside the wall, there are the famous Maitreya Hall and the Xiari Cang Mansion on the mountainside.

2. Old town:
240 years of history. Well preserved ancient city.
Going to the old city: You can walk down the street from the bridgehead to the old street, or you can overlook the street layout and architectural style of the entire old city in the square in front of Longwu Temple. There is a hidden stone ladder at the southeast corner of the square, leading Going down to the old city, this stone ladder connects the mosque, Erlang Temple and Yuantong Temple in the old city.
3. Regong Art Museum: It seems that it is only open for the two of us.
Regong art represented by Thangka has almost become a cultural symbol of Huangnan. The Regong Art Museum is a must-visit place, where Thangka, Duixiu, Buddha statue sculptures and sand-painted mandala and other treasures in Regong art are collected.
The scale is not large. There are 8 exhibition halls.
Mandala sand painting is the most unique and exquisite religious art in Tibetan Buddhism. Generally, during large-scale ritual activities, the lamas in the monastery use millions of sand grains to depict a strange Buddhist kingdom. The whole process of depicting the world may last for days or even months, and the most amazing thing is that this beautiful three-dimensional picture scroll that has been painstakingly created will be swept away without hesitation after the ceremony is over, and it will disappear in an instant.

Day 25, May 7th, from Tongren County, Gannan Prefecture to Xunhua County, Haidong City
Passing by Wu Tunxia Temple: The little monk heard that we came from far away Shanghai, and offered to introduce the origin of the temple for free. This is the birthplace of Thangka.
Brave the light rain and continue to move forward, as the altitude rises, from rain, sleet to heavy snow. On the mountain, there is snow in May, and the altitude at the junction of Huangnan and Haidong is 3326 meters.
There are some falling rocks on the road.
1. Former Residence of the Tenth Panchen Lama:

In 1938, the Tenth Panchen Lama, Erdeni Choji Gyaltsan was born. In 1943, he was recognized as the reincarnation of the Ninth Panchen Lama. He passed away in 1989.
The old courtyard has a history of more than 200 years. The old kitchen in the corner of the courtyard is filled with khatas offered by worshippers. That is the location of the old fire pit, where the Panchen Lama was born.
2. Wendu Temple: 8 kilometers, 0:11
Ladai Village, Wendu Tibetan Township.
An exquisite and elegant Tibetan Buddhist monastery.
Panchen Lama once became a monk here when he was young. After his death, the pagoda containing his relics returned here.
Zhijiezi: the great mosque, the manuscript "Quran", and the camel spring are all closed.
3. Jiezi Mosque: 13 kilometers, 0:20
Sanlan Bahai Village, Jiezi Township, Xunhua County.
The Great Mosque is the ancestral temple of the Salar people. The four minarets are 23 meters high, ranking second in Qinghai (the first is Xining Dongguan Mosque).
Non-Muslims are not allowed to enter the worship hall, but they can visit the manuscript Quran collection on the side of the worship hall. This is the treasure of the town hall. According to legend, the precious Qur'an brought by the ancestors of the Salar people with white camels when they migrated from Samarkand to the east has a history of about 800 years.
4. Camel Spring:

When the ancestors of the Salar nationality migrated eastward from Samarkand in Central Asia (now in Uzbekistan) to Xunhua at the end of the Song Dynasty and the beginning of the Yuan Dynasty, the accompanying camels mysteriously disappeared. People later found a clear spring under the sandy slope on the east side of the street. , The lost camel lying in the water has turned into a white stone. People found that the local water and soil are exactly the same as those in their hometown, so they settled down here and multiplied.
Xunhua County is the only Salar Autonomous County in China.

5. Fox Leaping Gorge:
To the east of Xunhua County, the Yellow River bravely breaks into Xiaojishi Mountain, forming a spectacular canyon. Besides the danger, there is also the magnificent Danxia landform. When the river finally breaks through the cliff and falls into Gansu, it is the legendary battle of Dayu's flood control. The Qingda Highway zigzags along the south bank of the Yellow River. The narrowest part of the river is called the Fox Leaping Gorge. During the flood season, the maximum flow can reach 4,800 cubic meters per second, and the width is nearly 5.7 meters. This is the breakthrough point where the Yellow River finally rushes out of Jishi Mountain.
It's a pity that due to the rain, it is impossible to pass 1 km away from Fox Leaping Gorge, so I couldn't see the 5.7.
The chain bridge is closed and cannot be crossed. Fox Leaping Gorge is suspected to be the narrow waterway on the opposite side.
I plan to live in Xunhua County, but I need to return to the county, and the hotels in the county are very ordinary. It was only 15:30, so I decided to go to Linxia County, Gansu.
As soon as you get on the highway, you can see the Danxia Mountains on the left and right and in front of you. After contributing 8.55 yuan to the expressway, I got off the expressway and wanted to take the provincial road to better appreciate and take pictures. But after walking on the provincial road, I found that there are more occlusions. So I got on the highway again.
From Xunhua to Linxia County, they still climbed over the mountain, with an altitude of 3176 meters. The top of the mountain is covered with snow, and Xueer is still flying.
Entering Linxia, the road down the mountain is really bad. After 25 kilometers of bumps, I came to Linxia County.
