3 Days Baoshan Walking Tour! At the head of the Huitong Bridge on the edge of the Nujiang River, the meeting touched and warmed my heart!
On December 11, from Dali to Baoshan Longling, participated in the 2020AA 100-kilometer event, "For the victory of the expedition, re-travel the Yunnan-Burma Highway". On December 12th, I participated in the hiking competition of re-walking the 50km Burma Road. In the end, it took 10 hours to complete the competition safely and smoothly.
On the morning of December 13th, organized and arranged by the organizing committee, went to the site of the Songshan Battle, spent half a day to visit and study, remember the martyrs and pay tribute to the heroes!
On the afternoon of December 13th, after visiting the site of the Songshan Battle, they rushed to the Huitong Bridge on the edge of the Nu River to welcome the AA 100-kilometer "hero" and attend the closing and awarding ceremony.
The Baoshan hiking activity lasted for 3 days and participated in three important outdoor activities. During the event, I collected a lot of wonderful pictures and texts and met many touching good people and good things, so I used three travel notes to record the beautiful and emotional moments one by one.

Let's go hiking in Baoshan for 3 days with "Travel Without Violation"! This travel note is mainly about the activities at the head of Huitong Bridge on the edge of the Nujiang River and the beautiful moments of returning to Dali. Let's follow my travel notes and welcome the "hero" to triumph.

activity description:
1. On the afternoon of December 13th, 2020AA 100km, the closing and awarding ceremony of the event "For the Victory Expedition, Retake the Burma Road" was held at the head of Huitong Bridge on the edge of the Nu River.
Huitong Bridge:
①It was built in the late Ming Dynasty. It was originally an iron chain cable bridge, and it was repaired and rebuilt many times. It is located at 600km of the Yunnan-Burma Highway (China Section), and it was the only channel connecting the two sides of the Nujiang River in the early stage. In the 25th year of the Republic of China, Mr. Liang Jinshan, an overseas Chinese in Singapore, generously donated money to rebuild the old bridge into a new flexible steel cable suspension bridge. The suspension bridge has a total length of 205 meters and a span of 190 meters. It is formed by 17 giant German steel cables and has a maximum load of 7 tons. It was not until the nearby new bridge was completed and opened to traffic in 1977 that the suspension bridge began to be abandoned.
② Not far from the downstream of Huitong Bridge is Hongqi Bridge, the longest steel-concrete box-section arch bridge in western Yunnan. The bridge is carved like jade, showing the majesty and magnificence of modern bridges. The distance between the two bridges is only more than 400 meters.
③ In May 1944, the counterattack in western Yunnan began. The bridge became the starting point of the Chinese army's counterattack and the hub of wartime material transportation. Huitong Bridge played an important role in my country's anti-Japanese war in western Yunnan, and it will be forever in history.
2. The teams participating in this outdoor activity gathered at the head of Huitong Bridge. The Huitong Bridge, which is usually closed, was temporarily opened. The organizing committee and athletes’ representatives presented flowers and fine wines on Huitong Bridge to remember the martyrs and pay homage to the heroes.
3. At the award ceremony, Dali Red Star Outdoor, as the co-organizer, won the honor of the Excellent Organization Award.
Touching moment:
1. We originally participated in the first 50 kilometers of AA 100 kilometers. After visiting the Songshan Battle Site on the morning of the 13th, we can return to Dali. Considering that we still have teammates "Tan Ding Niu, Kang Haoxin, Jun Yi", etc., we are participating in the second 50-kilometer race of the AA 100-kilometer race. In order to welcome the "hero" triumphantly at the finish line, and to participate in the closing and awarding ceremony of the organizing committee, we postponed the return time. Because we always firmly believe that outdoor activities, organization is very important, and the team is the most important!
2. "Tan Ding Niu" is the first team member among the four to reach the finish line of the 100 km. I am really proud of this little girl. By the way, she is the most beautiful girl mentioned in my first article "collecting foam garbage along the road during the competition", a heart-warming girl with perseverance, endurance, physical strength and kindness at the same time.
3. When I heard that "Junyi" was about to arrive at "Tiger Mouth" near Huitong Bridge, the person in charge of Red Star Outdoor "Datang Ranger" was waiting for the "hero" to return, and accompanied him all the way to the end of Huitong Bridge. Suddenly there was a burst of applause. AA 100 kilometers, belief is paramount, only persistence can successfully reach the finish line. Think about yourself, how difficult it is to walk 50 kilometers to reach the finish line safely. Look at the 100-kilometer warriors today, trotting all the way to the finish line. All of this is really touching!
4. Our team's 4 warriors "Tan Ding Niu, Kang Hao Xin, Jun Yi, and Yang Zhou" in the 100-kilometer cross-country team have too many touching moments worth remembering. If you encounter a traffic accident during the hike, you will help with emergency handling; during the hike, you will clean up the rubbish on the side of the road together. On the Huitong Bridge, there will be a ceremony of presenting flowers and wine to remember the martyrs and pay homage to heroes.
"Kang Haoxin" who suffered from knee injury and pain insisted on participating. Our teammate "Liu Zhenyun" next to him saw this situation, and he went to the bridge to participate in the ceremony as soon as he was on his back. I witnessed all of this completely, and I was moved and warmed my heart when I met it! Our teammates bluntly said: When everyone is extremely tired and overwhelmed with self-care, every little bit of love shown is so precious and heart-warming!
Get home safely:
1. At the head of Huitong Bridge on the edge of the Nujiang River in Longling, Baoshan, after attending all the closing ceremonies, we also embarked on the journey back to Dali. It was late in the evening, the sky was getting dark, and there was laughter and joy in the bus. From time to time, headmaster "Ouyang" (huang) would hear hearty laughter, and the atmosphere reached a climax again.
The hardest part of organizing a group to participate in the Longling hiking activity is "Da Tang Ranger" and "Lin Ling". Counting the number of people in the car from time to time, caring for each team member, and occasionally adjusting the atmosphere, causing everyone to laugh. Sitting in the car, I quietly recalled the beautiful scenes of the 3-day Baoshan hiking, harvesting the beauty and warmth!
2. At 1:00 a.m. on the 14th, I finally arrived safely at the home of Dali Yuanwuvi B&B, ending all the itinerary of the 3-day walking tour in Baoshan.
3. Later, I learned that a teammate of ours named "Bin" sent "Kang Haoxin" home safely over 30 kilometers back and forth. It is estimated that when he returned home, it should be around 2 o'clock in the morning. Well done guys! You worked hard!
4. Teammates such as "Yangzhou" and "Lin Ling" sent their companions home safely on the way. You are also awesome! You have worked hard!
