Going to Beijing has always been one of the tourist destinations that my mother has been thinking about, and I finally got some free time this year. After the "Sanya trip" during the winter vacation, I finally plan to go to Beijing this summer vacation. The reason why I am reluctant to put Beijing on the itinerary is very simple. I have been told more than once that when I travel in Beijing, I see people following the crowd... The weather is hot and I have heard such bloody storms. While doing the strategy, I feel magnificent.

DAY1: departure→hotel check-in→Temple of Heaven 1.5h~2h→Wangfujing 3h

The high-speed train at 8:00 a.m. departs on time from Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station → destination Beijing South Railway Station. Passing through Nanjing South Railway Station and Jinan Railway Station, the 4-hour and 28-minute high-speed rail trip made the two old people very satisfied, and felt that the high-speed rail was much more comfortable than the plane. Arriving at Beijing South Railway Station around 12:30, I wanted to follow the advice on the Internet to buy a Beijing transportation card, but I didn’t see the service center at the high-speed rail station, so I queued up to buy tickets. [Facts have proved: downloading "Yitongxing" is enough, and taking the subway is no problem. 】

Go straight to the hotel to drop your luggage. I chose [Guomao Atour (Jinsong Branch)] for accommodation, 4 stars, an average of 744 RMB per night excluding breakfast. I think the price is a little expensive, but I want to make my parents live more comfortably, and it is better than it is 19 years old The newly opened ones have relatively new facilities, and it turns out that the choice is right. Subway Line 14 to Line 10 to [Jinsong Station], get off the subway and walk there for about 10 minutes. Very convenient, the hotel is at the intersection of traffic lights, very quiet at night, the only fly in the ointment is that the window of the room faces the excavation site behind. But there was no construction on the construction site, only a big hole was dug. There is a life supermarket opposite, open 24 hours, there are snacks and food on the left and right streets. [Juewei Duck Neck, Holiland, Master Bao, Braised Pork, Wonton, Fast Food, Breakfast, etc.] It is not a problem to solve food and clothing.

After a short rest, go out and walk for 10 minutes, and take the bus to 【Temple of Heaven】, the first stop of the Beijing trip. There are not many people on the bus, and I personally think the people in the Temple of Heaven are okay. After shopping, go out from the west gate, and then there is the [Special No. 11] bus. I wanted to go to Dashilan to taste delicious food, but my parents still wanted to go to Wangfujing. All right, let's get off at Wangfujing. Personally, I think Wangfujing is similar to our Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street. Dinner was settled at Quanjude (Wangfujing store). We didn't have to queue up around 5:30. We waited for two tables and ordered half a duck, one vegetable, two meat dishes, and one steamed egg. 420 yuan, plus 10% service charge. When we came out after 7 o'clock, there was already a long queue at the door, so if you want to eat roast duck, you have to go early. After strolling around Wangfujing, take the bus back to the hotel, rest early, and prepare for Tiananmen tomorrow morning.

PS: The software for subway rides in Beijing is [Yitongxing], and the software for buses is [Beijing Public Transport]. [Beijing Public Transport] is still in the trial operation stage. If you want to apply in the APP, you will be given the next day. Your authorization can be used directly. The 5-day traffic I was there basically relied on these two apps.

DAY2: Tiananmen Square 0.5h→Mao Zedong Memorial Hall (Great Hall of the People, National Museum) 3.5h→Tiananmen Tower 10min→Forbidden City 3h

I thought about going to Tiananmen Square to watch the flag-raising ceremony early in the morning, but my body said that I didn't remember it, so I gave up decisively. Go out after 8 o'clock, still travel by bus, no need to transfer, arrive at [Tiananmen West Station] at 9 o'clock, get off the bus and follow the flow of people through the security check of Tiananmen Square, then enter the side of the Tiananmen Gate Tower, pass the security check and go to the underground passage on the right hand side, you can go to the opposite side of the road Tiananmen Square, Mao Zedong Memorial Hall, Great Hall of the People, National Museum of China. Parents wanted to see Grandpa Mao, so they rushed to the Mao Zedong Memorial Hall and lined up. I can't carry bags, water, and other flammable, explosive, and dangerous things. I stayed to look at the bags and asked my mother to accompany my father to look at them. After queuing for 3 hours, the two old people came back. Pass through the underground passage, pass through the Tiananmen Gate, and arrive at the [Meridian Gate], where the lunch problem is solved at the fast food restaurant at the Meridian Gate. Swipe the ticket to enter the [Forbidden City]. Since our parents have been exposed to the hot sun for 3 hours, we only visited the central route of the Forbidden City, and did not go to the east and west routes. Going out of Shenwumen, I wanted to sign up for a rickshaw alley tour at the door, but my mother was exhausted and just wanted to go back to the hotel "Ge Youlie", so we didn't even go to [Jingshan Park], and went directly to the hotel by bus.

PS: [Forbidden City] tickets must be bought in advance, buy in advance, buy in advance! The important thing is said three times. You can enter after 12 o'clock in the morning, but you must not enter in the afternoon. The Forbidden City restricts the flow, and the tickets will be sold out by noon. Also [Great Wall] must buy tickets in advance. The tickets were sold out at 9:32 on the day I went. The current limit is 65,000 people. Many people on our shuttle bus did not buy tickets and returned disappointed, not even taking the cable car.

DAY3: Ming Tombs 1.5h→Great Wall (5h round trip, 2h attractions)→Olympic Park (Bird’s Nest, Water Cube) 2h

Due to the long journey to the Great Wall, today I chartered a car to the Great Wall and the Ming Tombs [the car is booked with a travel agency, 750 yuan a day. There is also a recommendation for a private car, but I didn’t consider it because I was afraid of safety issues]. We set off at 7:30 and bought cooked food, fruit and dry food at the life supermarket opposite the hotel. The road is very congested. The original idea was to go to the Great Wall first and come back to the Ming Tombs. Later, due to an accident on the Beijing-Tibet Expressway, we went to the Ming Tombs first. After all, it is a tomb, so I didn't take any photos.

Considering the limited physical strength of the Great Wall, the choice is to go back and forth by cable car. I climbed Haohan Slope. Of course, I didn’t see any scenery. It was full of people. The eighth beacon tower was sealed off. Many people stood on it to take pictures. I’m afraid of heights. Did not go up. Look at the flow of people coming down. It is still very difficult to get up on Haohan Slope. Up and down are physically demanding. [Sneakers are recommended]. My dad and I have a pair of sandals and sandals, obviously not as sharp as my mother's sneakers. At such critical moments, the old lady showed her wise side.

Eat cooked food to solve food and clothing, go uphill, stop, appreciate, go downhill, rest and adjust, and go down the cable car line.

After getting off the Great Wall, I felt unsatisfied. I watched a 9D movie in Universal Studios, but I don’t recommend it. It’s nothing to watch. The spherical screen makes our old lady feel a little dizzy...

When we came back, the driver took us to the Olympic Park to see the Water Cube, the Bird's Nest, the Olympic Tower, and the National Stadium.

PS: If you travel by car on the Great Wall, you can drive to the entrance at the top of the Great Wall and take the cable car or hike up the mountain at around 5 or 6 o'clock. At other times, you can only park in the parking lot below. The parking lot is 10 yuan a day, and then take a free shuttle bus to the entrance. I personally think it is very convenient.

DAY4: Prince Gong's Mansion 2-3h → Shichahai Hutong tour 0.5h → Yuanmingyuan 3h → Peking University, Tsinghua University 0.5h

Still at 8:00, I arrived at Prince Kung’s Mansion, and I could buy a ticket by scanning the QR code. Three highlights: the entire wall on the back of the Buddhist building where the treasures are hidden (the windows have different colors, indicating that different treasures are hidden), the only remaining arched stone gate (it seems that I don’t remember clearly), and the emperor’s own handwriting The inscription "Fu" (you need to queue for about 15 minutes to enter the rockery and touch it).

After leaving Prince Gong’s Mansion, walk towards the former residence of Guo Moruo, and there is an alley tour you can choose. Of course you can negotiate the price with the little brother. We traveled around in a rickshaw. The master was very enthusiastic and explained in detail, with a very Beijing flavor. Get off at the stop, and walk forward to the former residence of Mei Lanfang and the snacks of Huguo Temple. The master said: The snacks of Huguo Temple are more authentic, very similar to the taste of Beijing. But we still had to rush to the Old Summer Palace, so we didn’t go there. Take the [Beihai North Station] subway directly to Yuanmingyuan.

We went all the way to the Yuanmingyuan, and went all the way to the [Western Building Ruins]. On the way back, we saw the [Sand Table Model of the Yuanmingyuan as a whole]. Still very beautiful. Of course, if you don’t have enough physical strength, you can actually choose to go in by cruise ship and come out by cruise ship. Because the garden is big, it really tests physical strength and endurance.

The Old Summer Palace is over, go to Tsinghua University, Peking University to have a look. If you want to visit Tsinghua University and Peking University, you can make an appointment on the WeChat public account [Visit Peking University] and [Visit Tsinghua University]. During the time I went, Tsinghua University had activities that were not open to the public, and Peking University did not make an appointment. So I can only wait and see at the door. I drove three bicycles at the bus stop at the entrance of Yuanmingyuan, and I rode eastward. The first thing I saw was Tsinghua University. Turn right at the traffic light and ride forward for about 10 minutes to Peking University.

DAY5: Summer Palace 3.5h → go home

The last stop [Summer Palace] arrived around 7:30, and the luggage was stored at the storage place next to the station. The small box is 30 yuan a day, and the big box is 40 yuan a day. You can also bargain with the boss. But what can't be changed is that whether it is a day or half a day, it is charged like this.

The Summer Palace opens at 6:30, but the Suzhou Street inside doesn’t open until 8:30. I’m glad I waited in line for 10 minutes at the door, and went in for a walk when we got there, because Suzhou Street was really busy when we came out at 11:30. There are huge crowds of people.

The Summer Palace looks like this: the gate faces the Longevity Hill, and behind the Longevity Hill is Kunming Lake. There are only Seventeen Arch Bridges and Wenchang Pavilion along the Kunming Lake (my father thinks this is similar to the West Lake Su Causeway), Longevity Hill and In the middle of Kunming Lake is the promenade. You can go over the mountain, and of course you can go around it. After we crossed the Longevity Hill, we chose a boat tour of Kunming Lake for 30 yuan per person to the Seventeen Arch Bridge. Then come back and walk along the lake, around Longevity Hill, to the gate. If you have plenty of time, you can choose to charter a boat tour of the lake, with 6 seats, 80 yuan an hour, and a deposit of 400 yuan. You can enjoy it comfortably on the lake and find out how the Queen Mother felt back then.

Leave the garden at 12 o'clock, have lunch at Beijing South Railway Station, and return.

PS: Tiananmen Square, Mao Zedong Memorial Hall, and the Forbidden City are not open on Mondays. So there will be a lot of people on the Great Wall on Monday. If there are many people in the Mao Zedong Memorial Hall, the queue will not be allowed around 11 o'clock.

The Great Wall and the Forbidden City must buy tickets in advance, because of the current limit, current limit, and current limit. (Of course, it may also be related to summer vacation, other times are not clear)
