How beautiful is autumn in Beijing? Lao She once said, "You must live in Beiping in autumn, and there is nothing unsatisfactory in Beiping's autumn." Beijing in autumn is like a paradise, and the most beautiful scenery in the paradise must have a place for golden ginkgo.

From the end of October to the end of November every year, about 20 days, is the best viewing season for ginkgo in Beijing. There are many famous ginkgo avenues in the capital, which are beautiful and intoxicating. Yellow leaves, red walls and blue sky are the hallmarks of Beijing in autumn.

From mid-October to mid-November, about 40 days, we went to Beijing Langfa City Forest Park, Juyongguan Great Wall, Zizhuyuan Park, Lianhuachi Park, Grand View Garden, Tianyuan Park, Taoranting Park, Yuanmingyuan, Diaoyutai , Sanlitun East 5th Street, Ditan Park, Lama Temple, Forbidden City, Xiangshan Park, Yuetan Park, Beigong Forest Park, Temple of Heaven Park, Jingshan Park, World Flower Grand View Garden, Caoqiao Scenic Area, Wanshou Park and more than a dozen ornamental colorful forests Red leaves (for details, please refer to my other work "Colorful forest and red leaves that must be seen in autumn in Beijing").

Following the footsteps of time, we walked through the most beautiful ginkgo forests in Beijing one by one, and visited the six most famous ginkgo avenues and ginkgo scenic spots in Beijing: Yuanmingyuan Ginkgo Avenue, Diaoyutai Ginkgo Avenue, Sanlitun East Fifth Street Ginkgo Avenue, Ditan Park Ginkgo Avenue, Lama Temple Ginkgo Avenue, Yuetan Ginkgo Avenue, Tianyuan Park Ginkgo Forest, Taoranting Park Ginkgo Forest, etc. are introduced as follows:

Ginkgo leaves outside Beijing turn yellow earlier than inside. In late October, golden ginkgo trees appeared on the Juyongguan Great Wall, but not many became forests.

Tianyuan Park Ginkgo Forest, November 2

Tianyuan Park Ginkgo Forest, November 2. The park is located in Lugouqiao Township, Fengtai District. There is a large ginkgo forest in the park, which covers a large area and can be called the most "fun" ginkgo forest.

Tianyuan Park is a country park, and many old Beijingers don't know it, but a large ginkgo forest is so beautiful.

The ginkgo forest is located in Xuanqiu Garden. It seems a bit exaggerated to describe the ginkgo forest as overwhelming, but it is not inferior to the most famous Diaoyutai Ginkgo Avenue in Beijing.

The ginkgo forest in Tianyuan Park is not very old, but its area is several times larger than Diaoyutai Ginkgo Avenue.

The time we went was just right, and the yellow ginkgo leaves were very brilliant and very gorgeous.

Looking around, there are golden ginkgo leaves.

Looking from a distance, it looks like a large golden carpet is laid on the ground, which looks extraordinarily beautiful.

Many tourists put on or bring bright clothes and go wild in the ginkgo forest, which is very fun.

Because the ginkgo leaves are not cleaned, the road is covered with golden yellow, and the golden leaves are covered with golden leaves. The ears hear the crisp sound, and the eyes are full of beautiful shots.

The golden trees and ground make Tianyuan Park a golden and dreamy place.

There are no buildings and service facilities around the ginkgo forest.

Many tourists rode shared bicycles directly into the ginkgo forest.

Ginkgo forest has become a 360-degree carnival photography world without dead ends.

Ginkgo Forest in Taoranting Park, November 3rd.

Taoranting Park is located on the northwest side of Taoran Bridge on the South Second Ring Road of Beijing. There are two ginkgo forests in the park, which can be described as "pleasant" ginkgo forests.

Taoranting Ginkgo Forest is mainly concentrated in Tanying Liujin Scenic Area.

There is a beautiful ginkgo forest here, although the scale is not very large, but because it is located by the lake, there is water to be spiritual.

The ginkgo forest in Taoranting is dense and lush, tall and straight, and the stream full of fallen leaves meanders past, which does not feel like a small bridge.

Under the reflection of the sun and the color contrast of the green lawn, the golden yellow leaves floating on the lake are also particularly eye-catching.

Although the ginkgo forest near the lake is surrounded by iron railings, it still cannot stop tourists from climbing over the railings and entering the ginkgo forest.

There is also a small ginkgo forest near the south gate of Taoranting Park.

A ginkgo tree at the south gate is particularly bright under the sunshine.

Ginkgo Avenue in Yuanmingyuan, November 5th.

The Old Summer Palace is located in the northwestern suburbs of Beijing. Its Ginkgo Avenue is located at the junction of the three gardens. It is about a kilometer long and can be called the "longest" Ginkgo Avenue.

Entering from the South Gate of Yuanmingyuan, in the direction of Qichun Garden leading to Fuhai, there is a long Ginkgo Avenue, which is as famous as summer lotus.

The avenue is wide and stretches for nearly a kilometer, with hundreds of ginkgo trees standing neatly on both sides.

More than 200 ginkgo trees over 30 years old are waiting for tourists.

The autumn wind blows, the golden leaves pave the road, the blue sky, red walls, fallen leaves, and vines, what a beautiful autumn scenery.

Ginkgo Avenue seems to have no end in sight.

Visitors to the ruins of the Old Summer Palace are all seduced by the enchanting scenery.

The red vines on the fence and the golden ginkgo complement each other.

Diaoyutai Ginkgo Avenue, November 8.

Diaoyutai Ginkgo Avenue is located outside the east wall of Diaoyutai State Guest House on Sanlihe Road, Xicheng District, Beijing. It is about 800 meters long and is the landmark of Beijing Ginkgo.

The most popular place to watch ginkgo every year must be Diaoyutai Ginkgo Avenue! This is the earliest famous holy place to see ginkgo in Beijing.

Because it is the weekend, this place has become the ginkgo avenue with the most traffic.

The straight Ginkgo Avenue is full of people. Old people and children admiring the apricot leaves, "photographers" holding long guns and short cannons, and "painters" holding up drawing boards have also become a scene in the forest.

It is said that the ginkgo here is the first batch planted in Beijing, and it is denser and thicker than the one in the altar.

Looking up, people who are "photographers", "take wedding photos", "walkers", "pickers of ginkgo nuts", and "walking with pets" blend in this beautiful scenery, which is very warm.

The fragrant grass under the tree is covered with thick golden ginkgo leaves, and the ginkgo is golden when it looks up.

Strolling among them, there are "soft" fallen leaves under your feet, the "sound of nature rustling" after the wind blows by your ears, and pieces of golden yellow flying around.

Gingko Avenue, East Fifth Street, Sanlitun, November 8.

The avenue is located in the embassy area of Beijing, with a length of about 500 meters. Because foreign handsome men and beautiful women often appear, it can be called the most "fashionable" ginkgo avenue.

To enter this ginkgo avenue, you can only enter after being checked by the guards with your ID card.

On both sides of this place are the embassies of Turkey, Zaire, Denmark, Argentina, Cameroon, Switzerland and Mexico. Compared with the people coming and going in the park, this place is much more serious, and the guards on guard will watch your every move.

Because of the special geographical location, there are few people and cars here. It is one of the best places to enjoy ginkgo and experience the quiet autumn. It is really a rare pure land in Beijing.

The tall ginkgo trees on both sides of the road have luxuriant branches and leaves. Under the sunshine, the golden light is shining like a fairy tale world.

Ginkgo Avenue, East 5th Street, Sanlitun, together with exotic buildings, is a mess of beauty.

Because it is relatively quiet, the beauty of ginkgo trees is even more beautiful here. Strolling along Sanlitun East Fifth Street is like being in the ending scene of a certain movie.

Because I don't work on weekends, it's rare to see handsome men and beautiful women.

Due to the strong wind and rain in the past two days, a lot of ginkgo leaves have also fallen. We did not see the most beautiful Ginkgo Avenue in Sanlitun.

Ginkgo trees outside the embassy walls.

Ditan Park Ginkgo Avenue, November 9th.

Ditan Park Ginkgo Avenue is located in Andingmenwai Street, Dongcheng District, Beijing. It is said that some ginkgos were planted when the Ditan was built. It can be called the "oldest" Ginkgo Avenue.

The golden leaf and red wall scenery of Ginkgo Avenue in Ditan Park is particularly artistic.

Ginkgo Avenue in Ditan Park, as the famous Ginkgo Avenue in Beijing, has always been a charming scenery that cannot be missed in autumn in Beijing.

Although Ginkgo Avenue in Ditan Park is located in the center of the city, it enjoys a pure land among the hustle and bustle.

Entering from the north gate of the Temple of Earth, you can see two rows of tall ginkgo trees.

It is said that Park Ginkgo Avenue is the oldest Ginkgo Avenue in Beijing, which is very historical.

More than 200 ginkgo trees were planted in the garden in the late 1950s.

Every late autumn, the ground under the trees is golden yellow.

Lama Temple Ginkgo Avenue, November 9.

The Lama Temple Ginkgo Avenue is located at the entrance of the Lama Temple. The ancient buildings of the Lama Temple and the ginkgo leaves are integrated with each other. It can be called the most "quiet" Ginkgo Avenue.

Ginkgo Avenue in Ditan Park and Ginkgo Avenue in Lama Temple are very close, so you can watch them together.

The ginkgo trees on the Lama Temple Ginkgo Avenue are in their prime, and the age of the trees is more than 30 years, so the trees are tall and dense.

Lama Temple Ginkgo Avenue is covered with small golden fans, and the scenery is beautiful, so it is known as "the most quiet Ginkgo Avenue".

The Ginkgo Avenue of Lama Temple is golden in autumn and intoxicating.

The golden color of ginkgo is intertwined with the light and shadow of ancient buildings, which is particularly artistic.

Moon Altar Ginkgo Avenue, November 13.

Yuetan Ginkgo Avenue is located outside Fuchengmen, Xicheng District, Beijing. Although the park is small, it has a ginkgo avenue and many ginkgo forests, which can be called the "most beautiful" ginkgo park.

More than 200 ginkgo trees planted in the last century turn into a golden piece every late autumn, with colorful fallen leaves and a unique artistic conception.

There are a large row of ginkgo trees inside and outside the walls of Yuetan Park, which are bright yellow and contrast with the gray walls and green tiles.

Red walls and yellow leaves.

The gray walls hidden among the ginkgo trees show the tranquility and long history here.

Another ginkgo avenue in the park.

Ginkgo biloba is luxuriant, and the scenery is romantic and quiet.

The sky of blue clouds and the land of yellow leaves are sprinkled all the way in the ancient altars and temples, which seems to be a road paved with gold.

The pavilions in the park are decorated with ginkgo trees.

The area of Yuetan Park is small, but in recent years, the ginkgo in Ditan Park has become a "net celebrity check-in place".

The leaves of the ginkgo trees in the park rustled and covered the entire ground.

In the park, there are ginkgo trees everywhere, which deserves to be called "the most beautiful ginkgo park".

Chasing ginkgo in the capital also needs to talk about the weather. Only 5 days later, on the 19th, we entered Yuetan Park again, and the Ginkgo Avenue changed into a different look, and the avenue became a bright fork.

Because of the strong wind and rain in the past two days, the ginkgo leaves fell like rain in the park that was once full of golden yellow, leaving yellow leaves all over the place.

Autumn in Beijing comes and goes quickly. A strong wind and rain on November 15 and the first snowfall in Beijing on November 21 caused the ginkgo trees in the whole city to wither in an instant, leaving only dead branches. So far, our ginkgo viewing activities in 2020 are over.

In the autumn of 2020, although I rushed to watch the most famous ginkgo avenues in Beijing, the strong wind and snowfall made it less than 20 days to watch the ginkgo in Beijing.

Although there is not enough time to watch ginkgo in the autumn of 2020, the most famous ginkgo avenues in the capital, such as Tianyuan Park, Taoranting Park, Yuanmingyuan, Diaoyutai, Sanlitun East 5th Street, Ditan Park, Lama Temple, and Moon Altar, will still be visited. Completion.

In the capital city in autumn, there are ginkgo trees everywhere. There is also a ginkgo avenue outside the community where we live.

This ginkgo avenue is not very old, but it will also become a charming ginkgo sightseeing avenue in the future.

In our community, there is also a small-scale ginkgo trail.

Passing by every day, walking on the ginkgo trail, I feel good.

We regard it as the "Grand View Garden of World Flowers" in the back garden, and there are also sporadic ginkgo trees.

When you have nothing to do, it’s not bad to go for a walk in the park and check out the ginkgo.

There are also Zhanggezhuang (the largest ginkgo forest in Beijing), Changying Park, Aosen Park, Guo Moruo Memorial Hall, Peking University and Tsinghua University, Beijing Forestry University, Zhongshan Park, Badachu Park, Hongluo Temple, Tanzhe Temple (Emperor Tree) in the capital. , Xifeng Temple, Wuta Temple, Beijing Botanical Garden, Dajue Temple, Summer Palace, Gaolizhang Village, Huangchenggen Site Park, Jiangfu Park, National Library, and other places. Can wait for next year to continue.

It is not a pity to watch ginkgo in 2020! thanks for reading!
