A few days ago, the opening match of the "China Insurance Cup" 2022 China Boat Fishing (Lure) Open sub-station was successfully concluded at the Xiangyang Lake International Fishing Sports Base in Beitun City, which is "a city of hundreds of lakes, with sunflowers blooming".
Local player Li Hailong topped the list for two days, and finally won the championship with a total catch of 744 cm, setting a new record for the event. At the same time, he was also eligible to be selected for the boat fishing national team, and is expected to represent China in the 10th World Boat Fishing Championship. Fan Lifeng and Li Fudong won the runner-up and third place respectively with a total length of 682 cm and 680 cm. Li Gang won the biggest single-tail award with a 105cm pike.
The event on this site is sponsored by the China Fishing Sports Association and the People's Government of Beitun City, Xinjiang, and undertaken by Xinjiang Jingyuan Cultural Tourism Co., Ltd. The competition is a 2-day, 14-hour Kayak boat fishing competition for the designated target fish length. The designated pike (≥50cm), perch (≥25cm), and high-body crocodile (≥20cm) can submit a maximum of three target fish per day, and the results of a single game will be calculated. The total score will be 18 in two games. The ranking is based on the total length of tail fish caught.
On the day of the competition, with the start of the gong, the athletes drove the boat to the target fishing point with all their strength. Hundreds of boats are flying on the lake reflected by the morning sun, which is really spectacular. Individually long pike are the first target fish for most athletes. Under the condition of ensuring that three fish are caught, continue to keep the big ones and let go of the small ones to challenge for better results.
The water surface of Xiangyang Lake Base is about 10 kilometers from east to west, and about 2.4 kilometers from north to south. The water source is the Irtysh River, with an average water depth of about 4.5 meters. Thanks to the nourishment of melted ice and snow, the lake bottom is relatively flat with luxuriant aquatic plants, and the hidden gullies deep in the thick aquatic plants are often the "strongholds" of voracious pike and five-daohei. Li Hailong, who has been Luya with his father since he was a child, and often fought in Xiangyang Lake, knows this well.
Only ten minutes after the start of the first day, Li Hailong caught a 103cm pike as soon as he arrived at the target fishing point. After getting off to a good start, he caught two more 80cm pike and three more than 30cm five black pike , so that his overall score is far ahead.

First, he took the bait of a 90cm pike, and less than an hour later caught a 104cm pike. The second target was Wudaohei, and it was easy to hit all of them without any effort, and it was easy to seal the victory...

Accurately judge the fishing point, seize the morning window, insist on using big bait to arouse the attacking desire of large pike, and he goes to Xiangyang Lake to practice poles whenever he is free, and he is familiar with every fishing point in the fishing ground.
