This trip is a family summer vacation trip, 3 adults and 2 elementary school students. I started to make a guide a week before departure. After comparing group tours, car tours and car rental self-driving tours, I decisively chose to rent a car and self-drive tour. It is very convenient because there are many people. After the high-speed rail, the car rental company will pick you up at the station. The original route was Guiyang-Qingyan Ancient Town-Xiaoqikong-Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village-Tianhetan-Huangguoshu-Guiyang. Later, I found that time was a bit rushed in Miao Village, so I didn’t go to Tianhetan. Instead, I went to Kaili to go shopping and eat.
In terms of high speed, all scenic spots are full of high speed, there are many tunnels, and the speed limit ranges from 80 to 110. It is no problem to follow the navigation.
In terms of food, Qingyan Ancient Town is full of pig's feet, 25 yuan/catties. I don't think there is a serious stir-fry restaurant. Except for the pig's feet, the other dishes are relatively small and the taste is average. There are fish in sour soup everywhere in Libo and Huangguoshu. I ate it once and I didn’t like it. The gourmet software is quite good when you go out. You basically rely on it to find restaurants, and there are many group meals that are much more cost-effective than a la carte. We live near the viewing platform in Miao Village. The food on the terrace of the inn is very delicious. You can enjoy the night view of Miao Village while eating.
In terms of play, it is enough to book one day for each point. We play in the morning and rush to the next scenic spot in the afternoon. Qingyan Ancient Town is for shopping and eating, and there is also a Great Wall to climb; the Xiaoqikong Scenic Spot is very good, the Water Forest and Butterfly Spring can be played in the water, children will have fun with some water props; Xijiang Qianhu The Miao village is relatively small, just to see the night view, rent a set of Miao clothes to take pictures and go shopping; Huangguoshu Waterfall is best divided into two days, the Tianxing Bridge scenic spot is the largest, and it will be very tiring after walking. It is best to get up early in the morning to go to the Huangguoshu Waterfall scenic spot. You can avoid tour groups, there will be fewer people, and the Doupotang is relatively small, and you can finish shopping in 1 hour.
