There are two monsters in the "Eighteen Monsters of Yunnan": the train is not as fast as the car, and the railway is not connected to the domestic and foreign countries. It is the Yunnan-Vietnam Railway with a design speed of 25 kilometers per hour. The Yunnan-Vietnam Railway runs from Hekou in Yunnan Province to Kunming, which is called the "Dian Section"; from Haiphong, Vietnam to Laojie, it is called the "Yue Section". And Bisezhai used to be a hub and special station on this railway. At that time, the train tickets were so cheap that even ordinary people could enjoy them.
Bisezhai currently does not accept tickets. However, the tour guide who accompanied Beijing guests to search for memories told me that she would accompany different guests every year, and that Bisezhai is changing every year.
The "encounter" I drove over along the way felt that the tour guide was telling the truth.
Several times I was almost taken into a "ditch" by the navigation. Every time it reminds me to go to the unknown muddy path. The idea at the time was, how could such a famous scenic spot take such a road? I found out later that it was the old road to the village, but now it was cut off by the villagers.
Along the highway that is being expanded, I asked while walking, and finally saw the gate of the scenic spot that was taking shape. Then I asked and walked through several fork roads, and finally arrived at the gate of the village. I followed the instructions of the locals and parked in the parking lot that was obviously opened soon and would not charge.
It took another 5 minutes to walk to reach the destination.
A sign is a dusty history. Once "Qiong Lin Yu Dian, the chanting of the stringed pipes in the morning, and the shengpa in the evening", now all of them are "the rain beats the wind and the flowers fall, and the prosperity is like a dream".
It looks like a water tower in a warehouse. A very famous building.
All kinds of abstract buildings and restored objects in the train museum can be used as a basic science popularization of steam locomotives.
There is a place in Bisezhai where you can rent the same style of clothing as "Youth", 10 yuan per set, and you can take pictures as you like.
I met a mother and son from Chongqing, holding various video shows with their family members on their mobile phones. When they saw me taking pictures, they posed various poses for me to take pictures for them. Seeing other people's mobile phone cameras pointing at them is also very cooperative. Very atmospheric.
This couple of college students, the girls have a sweet smile. Wearing costumes from both eras, had a blast.
Seeing me taking pictures of my family, I also asked me to take pictures for them. I helped them design various scenes and expressions, and they had a great time.
The fortifications of Bisezhai were made from local materials. It all looks exceptionally solid today. And the vision is excellent, easy to defend but difficult to attack.
Bisezhai Station is close to Mengzi Customs and Gejiu Tin Mine. It is the place where the "meter-gauge" railway (Dianyue Railway) and the "inch-gauge" railway (Gebishi Railway) "refit". (The domestic standard gauge is 1435mm, the meter gauge of the Yunnan-Vietnam Railway is 1000mm, and the inch gauge of the Gebishi Railway is 600mm)
The Yunnan-Vietnam Railway is the only inch-gauge railway in the world with a track width of only 600mm. My mother said that my grandmother once said that almost every meter of track has a wronged soul of a Chinese laborer. It took 21 years and 5 months to repair the 177-kilometer railway, and the hardships are self-evident.
The lead was washed away, leaving only pure yellow walls and red tiles. Like the stopped clock, the secret of Bisezhai is no longer known. What happened in the world at that moment?
Feel the meter gauge, long legs.
Walking on the inch rail, you can see from a distance that the station that once broke out of its cocoon and became a butterfly is in the limelight, and the bustling station in the past is gradually declining, sleeping silently in the distance. Just like an old man with a story, quietly watching and listening to all the changes around him, hiding all the magnificence in the past and leaving it to future generations to comment.
