The trip to Guizhou that almost died

This trip almost died, because two days before departure, I suddenly developed a cough and fever.

In this critical period, I hurried to the hospital and did a nucleic acid test, which was negative, and I breathed a sigh of relief.

But there was fear of getting sicker, or infecting others, and George wasn't traveling with me.

After repeated hesitation, I decided to give up the trip to Guizhou.

After taking the medicine for 2 days, the cold didn't seem to get better.

The night before departure, I reluctantly refunded the ticket to go.

The next day I slept peacefully until I woke up naturally, and something miraculous happened.

My cough seems to be healed, and my body has strength.

So I was about to make a move again, and under George's instigation, I bought a new ticket for the afternoon.

After buying the ticket, I immediately started to pack my luggage.

I packed my clothes and George helped me with my camera gear.

Because of the rush of time, my heart is always uneasy, afraid of forgetting something.

After thinking about it again, as long as I bring my ID and camera, nothing else matters.

Close the suitcase and let's go, Guizhou, I will come to see you in the end!

One mountain, one city, ten villages

Guizhou is the destination I am looking forward to very much. After seeing the photos of thousands of Miao villages taken by the great photographer rk, I was instantly planted.

I guess, this year's Qianhu Miao Village will definitely be listed as one of the top ten popular attractions in 2020, and there will be more tourists in the future.

One mountain, one city, ten villages, this is the whole of my trip to Guizhou.

Guizhou has beautiful natural scenery and strong minority cultures. In addition to tourists, Guizhou is also a favorite place for photographers.

This time is also another cultural trip after my trip to Cuba. The fun of humanities lies in the people you meet on the road and their stories.

Maybe I just took a photo when I pressed the shutter, but when I look back at the photos and write travel notes, I will have more thoughts and feelings about the people and objects in this photo. Perhaps this is the charm and significance of humanistic photography.

A mountain refers to Mount Fanjing, which was included in the World Natural Heritage List in 2018 and is known as the "City of the Sky".

When clouds and mists rise in the mountains, Hongyun Jinding is looming in the large misty sea of clouds, like a palace in the sky.

It's a pity that we encountered a sunny day, and Fanjing Mountain lost its fairy spirit and turned into a mortal appearance, just a huge rock standing on the top of the mountain.

A city is the ancient city of Zhenyuan. Looking at the ancient city from a distance, half of it is on the hillside, and half of it is in the water. The Wuyang River winds through the whole city in an S shape, resembling a picture of Tai Chi. At night, the lights on both sides of the river are bright and colorful, and the night sky of the ancient city is bright and bright.

The ten villages include Miao, Dong and Shui. They are all located in Qiandongnan and Qiannan, which is the essence of Guizhou, a perfect combination of beautiful scenery and simple humanities.

Some villages have not been commercialized at all, and are still a piece of pure land in this bustling world. Some villages have been developed, and tourists can also experience the authentic minority life more comfortably. The gradual modernization and tourism of the ancient village is a double-edged sword. On the one hand, it brings income to the ancient village and improves the living standard of the villagers. On the other hand, the inheritance of customs has been affected, and some traditional culture may be abandoned.

In short, as ordinary people, what we can do is to learn more about and protect the culture of ethnic minorities, hoping that it will not be coerced.

Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village, as a representative of the Miao people, is like an amazing picture scroll, and the night is as bright as a galaxy.

Wearing Miao clothes is a must experience, and being a Miao girl for a day is the real integration into the Miao Village.

Zhaoxing Dong Village, since it was used as a branch venue of the Spring Festival Gala in 2018, it has become popular and has entered the public's attention. It is also my favorite village on this trip. The whole village is built on stilted stilts, row upon row, well arranged. From day to night, the starlight flows, and the scenery at every moment is extremely charming.

In addition to the above two villages, we went to the local people’s homes in Zenlei Water Village to experience their living environment; we watched the handicraft of weaving birdcages in Kala Village; and experienced their firing guns in the last gunmen tribe, Basha Miao Village. Bin and Sickle head shaving customs; watched a bullfighting meeting in Yangcha Laozhai, which was full of people and down-to-earth; experienced the custom of twelve road-blocking wine in Langde Shangzhai, and watched the Lusheng performance...

I would also like to introduce my friend who was with me this time, Teacher Zhang Li.

He is a professional photographer. He took all the portraits for me during this trip. Is the style very different from before?

Also, all the aerial photos in the travel notes are also made by him. Although I brought a drone, I am a mavic pro1 generation, and the picture quality is not comparable to his 2nd generation, so I don’t want to take it out and use it, so I use it. It's a tense photo.

In addition to his identity as a photography teacher, he likes to talk about history, politics, etc. along the way, really like a teacher.

He has done photojournalism before, so he is very interested in humanities. This time, he took the lead in taking pictures of local people's homes and took us in.

He also likes to take photos with the locals, squeezed into a group of old ladies, and the photos have the smell of "leadership inspection"~

----1----

It was already night when I flew from Shanghai to Guiyang on the first day, and I took a rest after checking in.

Because Zhang Li came to Guiyang one day earlier, I have checked out the scenic spots in downtown Guiyang. I will use his photos to show you these scenic spots. I have to boast that Zhang Li’s aerial photography skills are superb and I can learn from him.

It is still a pity that I missed the one-day tour of Guiyang because of illness. Guiyang has many buildings with strange shapes, which can be compared to the magical Chongqing.

Guiyang|Strange and magical buildings

First of all, I would like to introduce [Qianchun Overpass], which I like very much. There are 5 floors of interchanges, 11 ramps, and 8 entrances and exits.

Um? Why is this introduction so familiar? Because I went to the Huangjuewan Overpass in Chongqing in June this year, “The Huangjuewan Overpass is the largest and most complicated overpass in Chongqing, with five floors and 20 ramps in total. ". In such a comparison, it seems that the Huangjue Bay Overpass is more complicated. But because the Qianchun Overpass was taken with aerial photography, it is even more shocking.

Next to our hotel is [Jiaxiu Building]. This is an ancient building in the downtown area. After six large-scale repairs and more than 400 years of wind and rain, it has stood firm. It is a witness to the history of Guiyang and connects Guiyang. ancient and modern.

It is recommended to go to the west side of Jiaxiu Tower for the camera position, and it is best to take pictures with the modern high-rise buildings behind it as the background.

In Guiyang, there is a residential area with a very distinctive shape, like a string of roasted gluten, so it is called "Chuan Chuan Lou".

There are a total of four tall buildings, each of which is cylindrical and staggered. Each floor has an oversized open-air balcony, like a sky garden, covered with colorful floor tiles.

Address: Longxiyuan Community, Century City, Guanshanhu District, Guiyang City.

Camera location: Opposite Chuanchuanlou, on the top floor of Building 2 of Longxiyuan, you have to wait for residents to swipe their cards to enter.

Because of the good-looking decoration, the current bookstores have gradually become places for Internet celebrities to check in, such as [Zhongshuge] in Guiyang. Before I went to Zhongshuge in Chongqing, it was not allowed to take pictures with a camera, but in Guiyang, you can. The design of the bookstore incorporates karst landform elements, and the mirror design has a sense of future technology.

It is recommended to use ultra-wide-angle low-angle shooting. Because the overall color of the bookstore is relatively cool, you can match it with warm colors such as fire extinguishing boxes and wooden partitions when shooting. It is also best to dress in red and orange. The contrast is strong. For example, Zhang Li wears a red jacket, which is very conspicuous.

----2----

We will start our official itinerary the next day, starting by car.

Yunshang Danzhai|Hometown of Birdcage Weaving Art

The first village on the trip to Guizhou was Kara Village in Danzhai County. In Miao language, "Kara" means good. Danzhai County is located in the upper reaches of Duliujiang River and Qingshuijiang River. It combines the characteristics of the Miao culture of Duliujiang River and Qingshuijiang River, and has strong ethnic customs and cultural heritage.

Kara Village is one of the few existing villages specializing in traditional hand-woven birdcages. The birdcages weaved are sold at home and abroad, and the weaving skills have a history of more than 400 years. Of the 151 rural households in the village, 125 are engaged in birdcage production, with an annual production of 100,000 birdcages. Birdcage production has become the main source of income for Kala Village.

Kara Village does not require tickets. When you get off at the parking lot, you can see a big birdcage on the top of the mountain. Use a drone to help us take a look. When I looked at it from the bottom of the mountain, I felt that the birdcage was earthy, but the drone shot it turned out to be pretty good.

I don't know that there is such a scene with "Chinese characteristics" behind the mountain without flying a drone. A high-speed highway runs through the mountains, with terraced fields that have been harvested on one side and a small pool on the other, with the words "Foolish Old Man Moves Mountains, Transforms China". Because Guizhou is mostly mountainous, the living conditions are relatively poor and backward. However, in recent years, it has also been developing vigorously, opening roads in the mountains and building bridges in the water. "To get rich, build roads first." When the roads are improved, the tourism industry has also developed, and the green water and green mountains have become golden mountains and silver mountains.

After shooting, I walked inside and saw a persimmon tree, which was so attractive that I really wanted to pick one and eat it.

Kara Village is very primitive and has not been commercialized. There are almost no tourists visiting. The people who come here are mainly cultural photography enthusiasts. Therefore, in addition to the income from the birdcage, the photography fee has also become an income from the tourism industry here. For example, we wanted to shoot the scene of birdcage weaving, so we paid for two locals to be models. To put it bluntly, this is a staged shot. To put it bluntly, it is the "scene restoration" of photography.

I am more inclined to the latter. Although humanistic photography pays attention to shooting real scenes, because of some traditional crafts, we may not be able to capture the original feeling. Through "scene restoration", we can record these precious pictures Down, I think this is also a way and charm of humanistic photography.

After shooting the model, of course I also have to act as a "birdcage girl" and sit in a birdcage to pose for a photo. Although there are many birdcages in the photo, they are actually concentrated in a small area. Through the art of photography, use the medium telephoto to cut off the excess edges to create a dense feeling.

Uncovering the real photography scene, do you suddenly feel that the above photos are all "photo cheating"?

Take a closer look at those finely crafted birdcages, they are really exquisite. The production process of Kara birdcage is complicated, and it needs to go through more than a dozen processes such as cutting bamboo, breaking bamboo, dehumidifying, shaping, weaving, and coloring. Although the craft of birdcages has been around for hundreds of years, because bamboo, the material used to make birdcages, is not easy to preserve, there are no actual birdcages that have been handed down to later generations. Therefore, the inheritance of traditional handicrafts has become particularly important. I hope that the birdcage weaving craft in Kara Village It can also be passed on.

Although I didn't visit the whole village, I just came here to take pictures of the birdcage, but I also hope that through my photos and travel notes, more people will know about this characteristic village.

Lunch is eaten at the restaurant at the entrance of the village. The local characteristic fighting chicken is cooked and eaten while cooking. Because it is a fighting cock, the chicken is very chewy, but the meat is relatively old, which is not my favorite.

Yangcha Laozhai|Bullfighting event in the mud pit

In the afternoon, we continued our journey, and suddenly saw a lot of people wearing national costumes halfway, and the roadside was full of cars, as if some grand event was being held. With curiosity, we immediately decided to stop to find out. Passing through the lively crowd, I realized that it was a bullfighting convention. It was the first time for me to see a domestic bullfighting event on the spot. I was very excited, and the trip was full of surprises.

I heard from the locals that there is a reward of 20,000 yuan for the first place, which is quite generous, but raising such a pit bull is also very expensive. Each bull has a name or number on it, and the bullfight we watched called "Crouching Tiger" won.

The competition is held in a mud pit. According to the local people, it is held once a year, and the time is not fixed. There will be a more spectacular bullfighting meeting in another village in two weeks.

The bullfighting game was over and he was going home, Zhang Li was wearing a red jacket, I said hurry up and go away hahaha.

In fact, it doesn't look as fierce as in the movie, and it is quite docile when being led by the owner.

When flying a drone, the adults and children around were very excited, and many of them had never seen a drone.

There was a little boy who was very cute. I wanted to chat with him, so I asked him, "Do you speak Mandarin?"

He shook his head.

I said, "Then how can you understand me?"

He looked at me with wide eyes and said nothing.

I was amused, so can this kid speak Mandarin? It remains a mystery to this day.

The ethnic minorities here are very enthusiastic. We captured the most authentic and authentic humanities. Some greeted us happily when they saw the camera, while some children were a little shy and buried their faces behind their mothers.

The children here are almost always carried by adults on their backs, and then work together with the adults.

I met a group of aunts wearing uniform national costumes, and I was very warmly welcome to take a photo with them. My clothes seemed to blend into them, and there was no sense of disobedience.

Taking advantage of the holding of the bullfighting conference, a small market was also organized here, selling fruits and snacks at a cheap price.

How Lei Water Village|Only about 400,000 people remain

As the road was delayed by the bullfighting meeting, it was almost evening when we arrived at Howlei Water Village. The road to Zhaizi is a winding mountain road, and there are not many cars, so it is not difficult to drive, but it is easy to get motion sickness. When we came, there was no one else, and we were the only tourists who visited, and no tickets were required.

Howlei Water Village can really be called a secret place in Guizhou. There are only more than 50 Shui families living in the depths of the endless Miaoling Mountains, and they have reproduced from generation to generation for more than 300 years. The original ecology here is very well preserved, and it is a very low-key and niche paradise in southern Guizhou.

The existing Shui people only have a population of more than 400,000, and they are truly a "minority" ethnic group. They have their own language and traditional characters, and the ancient writing system of the Shui nationality retains the characteristics of compatibility of pictorial characters, pictographic characters, and abstract characters. Shuishi is a relic of the Xia and Shang culture and the spiritual pillar of the Shui nationality. Fish is the totem of the aquarium, and rice soup with fish is an important social custom of the aquarium.

Howlei Water Village is divided into 3 villages, the upper, middle and lower villages, which are distinguished by their location in the mountains from top to bottom. The three villages can be photographed together with aerial photography. In the eyes of the Shui people, the best land should be used for farming, so their houses are built on the top of the mountain, and the relatively flat place is used to build terraces, just like the palette of the earth. The rice has been harvested in the season we went, so the scenery is not so beautiful. If you can see the golden rice fields in the earlier days, it must be beautiful.

The entrance is the road leading to Shangzhai. Walk a short distance up the mountain to the left at the entrance to reach the viewing platform, which is suitable for tourists who do not have aerial photography to take panoramic photos. This angle is also very suitable for shooting with telephoto. You can take a picture of a small road passing through Shangzhai. Some people have already started cooking, and there is a faint smoke from the roof. Looking far away, the mountains overlap, the sea of clouds is vast, and the years are quiet, like a mountain village where you can hide from the world.

Looking towards the direction of the sunset, the thick clouds revealed a ray of the afterglow of the setting sun, and a long cloud scattered to the world. It was hard to tell whether it was the fireworks of the world or the ethereal fairy spirit of the heaven.

Continue to walk into the stockade, and then you can see these well-arranged wooden buildings with small green tiles. The railing building is praised as "the living fossil of Chinese national architecture" by many domestic research experts. The wisdom of the ancient working people is infinite.

Although the longing for the village is very beautiful when I look at it from a distance, but when I get closer to realize the reality, the living conditions are relatively backward, and I absolutely don't want to live here.

Seeing a house with its door ajar, led by Zhang Li, we entered the villagers' house. I used to be afraid to go to other people's homes, but this time with Zhang Li's exploration, I captured the real living environment of many local people, which is rare and precious.

At this time, it happened to be their dinner time, and I saw that the stove in their kitchen was more dilapidated than the one in my hometown when I was a child. The lighting in the living room was very dim, and there was only one dim light in the kitchen. Burning firewood is still their main way of cooking. The whole family gathers around the boiler to eat, and a pot of stew is their only food. There is also a little milk cat lying next to the firewood, warming the fire. The picture of the grandmother and the little milk cat together is very warm.

The second family invited us in. There are three members of the family, grandparents, grandchildren and grandchildren. Both parents have gone out to work, and there are many other families in the village who are also like this. They can be regarded as left-behind children. The little boy was very cheerful, smiling at the camera, and had a good appetite. After eating a bowl of rice, he went to fill another bowl.

The aquarium-style costumes were hanging on the balcony. I leaned on the railing and took a very humanistic portrait photo, which was different from my previous portrait photos.

The costumes of the Shui people are very simple and clean, because they especially taboo warm colors such as red and yellow, and like blue, white and blue three cool colors. The design of daily clothing is very simple, with only a piece of white cloth wrapped around the head, without heavy accessories, and various silver ornaments are only worn during festivals and wedding dresses.

On the way, I saw the balcony of another house, which was covered with bright clothes. These are already the modern sportswear worn by children.

Seeing an old granary, built in the late Qing Dynasty, has a sense of history.

In fact, the Shui people are very interesting. They have many unique customs, such as their own characters, calendars, myths, art, musical instruments, etc. You can’t feel the comprehensive Shui culture just by coming to Howlei Water Village. Those who are interested can learn more about it.

It was almost dark when we went down the mountain. At the foot of the mountain is Sandu Shui Autonomous County, and we stayed at a hotel in the county seat at night.

The facilities in the county are quite good. There is a small river next to the hotel. The night view of the Sandu Bridge is very good.

The sour soup fish pot for dinner is very appetizing.

Basha Miao Village|The Last Gunner Tribe

Continue to drive east this morning, and go to a very curious and "ornamental" Miao Village, that is, Basha Miao Village (biā shā in Miao language, meaning a place with a lot of vegetation). Known as "the last tribe of gunmen under the sun", they still wear muskets (with special approval).

Basha Miao Village is located in Bingmei Town, Congjiang County, with an altitude of 500 meters. The village consists of 5 natural villages: Laozhai, Zaige Xinzhai, Wangjiazhai, Darongpo Xinzhai and Zaizhuang, with a population of more than 2,500 in more than 500 households.

The Basha people still maintain the ancient production method more than 2,000 years ago, and they can be called the "living fossil" of the traditional Miao culture. Its little-known gunman culture, shaving heads with sickles, firing guns to welcome guests, tree burial customs, and tree worship are even more unique and mysterious.

Basha Miao Village is already a mature scenic spot, and the commercial atmosphere is not very strong.

Tickets are 20 yuan, tickets + performance package 60 yuan (including three irresistible performances, reed dance, sacred tree sacrifice, gun firing ceremony, performance time 9:00/11:00/15:00), shuttle bus 20 yuan.

The cars are parked in the parking lot of the visitor center, and the shuttle bus enters the gate of the village.

The biggest attraction of Basha Miao Village is the Basha men. They have high buns and carry spears on their shoulders. They have undoubtedly become the "best protagonists" under the lens of photographers. In Zhang Li's words, we are "photography helping the poor", because spending money to photograph local people is already a tourist income of Basha Miao Village.

We invited 3 Basha men to be models, in order to take pictures of these interesting ethnic customs at close range. If you meet children in the village, don’t give them any money. It will make them develop the bad habit of asking tourists for money. If you want to photograph them, you can give them some candy and snacks.

The place with the best view of the Basha Miao Village is a small hill that the model took us to. After entering the Zhaimen inside, you will see a small square. There is a small road on the left hand side, and you have to walk for more than 10 minutes to reach the top of the mountain. It is recommended to ask the local people with a photo in the square, so you don’t go wrong.

I saw a snake that had finished catching its prey on the road, and my scalp was numb with fright. However, as a person who wants to take pictures of everything, I still pressed the shutter tremblingly.

You can see the whole stockade from this hill, taking photos with layers of houses as the background, which is both clean and distinctive. We used aerial photography to take a panoramic view, which was quite shocking. The ancient trees and terraced fields in Basha are also very distinctive, with different scenery throughout the year.

It is said that Chi You, the ancestor of the Miao nationality, had three sons, and the Basha people are the descendants of the third son. After Chi You was defeated by the Yellow Emperor, he retreated to the southwest. The ancestors of the Basha Miao people were the vanguard of the great migration—a branch of the Jiuli tribe. In order to let future generations remember the shame of "running away", the ancestors of Basha changed their surname to "Gun", so if you ask them what is your surname? Answer: "Roll".

Men in Basha advocate force. They usually wear a collarless right cardigan made of local special fabrics with copper buttons and green cloth, and straight trousers. They carry knives and muskets on their shoulders all the year round. .

We can see the green cloth clothes worn by the three big brothers, which look like plastic, are shiny and reflective, and feel hard to the touch. This is Dong cloth. Dong cloth is the characteristic clothing material of the Dong nationality, and of course other ethnic groups also use it. In Basha Miao Village and Zhanli Dong Village, we can see many women making Dong cloth everywhere.

Dong cloth is very strong and durable, and the production process is also very complicated. After the white cloth is woven, it is soaked in an indigo dyeing barrel to remove the whiteness. After repeated soaking and drying several times, the cloth becomes the color of indigo. Then soak it in cowhide juice again, and the cloth becomes hard. Then put it on a flat plate, beat it to dry, apply protein solution repeatedly, continue bleaching, dyeing, drying, hammering, and finally it is finished. Egg white smearing and beating is the secret. It's amazing that egg white can still get inside the clothes.

Guns were originally used by Basha men for hunting and self-defense, but now they more mean national totems and have become props for tourists to pose for photos. The gun was loaded with gunpowder instead of real bullets, but it was very loud. If tourists want to shoot guns by themselves, they can experience it for 20 yuan a shot.

I sat with the three big brothers, and to practice shooting humanities, we must integrate the concept of humanities, haha.

I will perform a "this killer is not too cold".

Basha men attach great importance to their bun, which is called "hugun" in Miao language and is the most important part of male attire. Most of the hair around is shaved off, leaving only the middle bun as a bun, and this hairstyle is kept for life. It is said that this attire was handed down from the time of Chi You's ancestor, and it is also the oldest male hair style that can be seen in China so far.

But this hairstyle is not the most distinctive, their shaving tool is a must - sickle. I was curious at first, the sickle I have seen is big and blunt, how can it shave the head? When I saw it on the spot, I realized that their sickle was sharpened and skillful. They shaved off a large area with a few swishes, and it would not hurt the scalp. It is indeed the unique sickle shaving technique of Basha.

I also wanted to pretend to shave my head with a scythe to take pictures, but I didn’t expect my elder brother to lift my bangs as soon as he lifted it. I was really afraid that if my elder brother shook his hand, my sparse hairline would suffer, hahaha.

This mountain is also very suitable for taking portrait photos. After watching the performances of the big brothers, I can finally take a few personal photos quietly.

After shooting the models, we started to visit the village. In the stockade, you can see a lot of glutinous rice drying in the sun. Glutinous rice is the staple food of many ethnic minorities in Guizhou, because it is particularly resistant to hunger. Due to the humidity in the mountains, people dry the glutinous grains on high railings to preserve them for several months.

Walking into a house, a large group of old grandmas were eating lunch. The food on their table was all served in a washbasin, and the food was relatively simple.

Many households have a pigsty in front of their house, and the taste is simply unforgettable in this life. The tension took me through these houses and pigpens, and I was suffocating. I have never been to such a place, so I had to hint to myself that this is the way to experience the life of the local people, and I can feel all aspects of sight and smell.

This little girl was the most special one we met. I saw her sitting at the door from a distance, with bare feet and no expression on her face. I thought she was unhappy, so we took out candies to coax her, but she ignored us.

Her mother invited us to the house, and I saw old photos all over the wall at a glance. It turns out that they also like to take pictures and record them.

I said to the little girl, "Can I take a picture with you?"

Without saying anything, she came and sat next to me.

I said, "Let's strike a pose."

She still looked at the camera grimly, and her mother told her to take the same pose as me.

Then there was this photo of us comparing each other, I was smiling happily, and she had a serious face.

Later, I thought, the little girl had encountered something unhappy, or maybe her coldness was her character.

This is what their house looks like, it's very dilapidated, almost every house here is like this. Zhang Li asked me to sit on a small bench. He said that such a house is not usually seen, and I formed a strong contrast in such a picture. When I saw the photo, I thought my red dress looked like a bride in a ghost movie, a bit scary, hahaha.

The best location of this house is the viewing window, which has a very wide view. Zhang Li said that if this was in the mountainous area of our hometown in Zhejiang, many houses would be transformed into homestays and tourism would be developed, and the local people would not be so hard-pressed.

We participated in the welcome ceremony at the gate of the village at 15:00. After firing guns at the gate to welcome guests, we followed the guide along the forest path for sightseeing, and finally arrived at the Lusheng Field to watch the performance.

Basha people have worshiped trees very much since ancient times. They would plant a tree of life when they were born. When the person passed away, the tree would become a coffin, and the relatives of the deceased would not erect a tombstone, but would only plant another tree. Come to express your condolences.

Continue to walk to the Camphor Memorial Pavilion. In 1976, the Chairman Mao Memorial Hall was built in Beijing. With infinite respect for the Chairman, the Basha people resolutely decided to dedicate a thousand-year-old camphor tree with a diameter of 1.2 meters to Chairman Mao’s memorial. Church. In order to commemorate, an octagonal memorial pavilion was built at the site of the tree named "Camphor Memorial Pavilion of Chairman Mao Memorial Hall".

The final itinerary is a performance at the Lusheng Field, including the sickle shaving and the display of the wedding ceremony, etc. The whole journey takes about half an hour. Because these are the most distinctive customs of Basha Miao Village, it is still worth seeing.

We watched the scythe shaving the head again, so we can see the scene of the scythe shaving the head without paying for the model to take pictures.

The specialty snack here is glutinous rice, which can be added with grilled sausage or pork belly. Zhang Li said it was quite delicious. I ate a bowl of rice noodles for 10 yuan, which is very cheap for me. Nothing else to eat.

Zhanli Dong Village|The Secret of Changing Flowers and Plants

In the evening, continue to Zhanli Dong Village, which is the first Dong Village on our trip. The next villages we are going to are also Dong villages. I used to know more about Miao villages. This time I visited many Dong villages and was deeply attracted by Dong village culture. Compared with Miao villages, Dong villages are less known, and many of them have not been developed into scenic spots, so few tourists set foot in them, and they still retain the traditional way of life a hundred years ago. I am also very contradictory, and I want these villagers to have more income, and I also hope that this original ecological secret will not be destroyed.

The easiest way to distinguish whether a village is Dong nationality is to see if there are drum towers and wind and rain bridges, because drum towers and wind and rain bridges are the unique symbols of Dong villages. The Drum Tower looks like a pagoda from the outside, higher than the house, so it can be seen at a glance. The drum towers are all connected by mortise and tenon structures, which have survived hundreds of years of wind and rain, and can be called "architectural art".

Zhanli Dong Village is not big, there are 2 drum towers in total, no tickets are required.

There are more than 150 households in Zhanli Dong Village, all of whom are Dong people with the surname Wu. This village has a very big feature, that is, the natural population growth rate is almost zero. Because Wu Gongli, the ancestor of Zhanli Village, proposed to control the population growth, he established a village rule: a couple is only allowed to have two children, and more children will be punished according to the village rules.

And another even more unbelievable phenomenon is that almost 99% of the families are one man and one woman, and there are very few phenomena of two men and two women. It is said that Zhanli Dong Village has a mysterious herbal medicine called "changing flowers and plants", which can be used to balance the sex of the fetus. If the first child is a boy, changing the flowers will make the second child a girl, and vice versa. Not everyone knows the true face of "changing flowers and plants" in Mount Lu, and there is only one person who is qualified to know, and this person is called "pharmacist" by the villagers. There is also a well in the village. It is said that drinking the well water can also have the function of "changing flowers and plants".

I believe in science, of course I don't believe it. I asked the locals if they were really a man and a woman. Everyone in the village smiled and nodded. When I asked them why, they all said they couldn't. But according to my observations on the road, the secret of "changing flowers and plants" cannot be trusted.

It was getting dark when we arrived at the village, so we started to wander around. Climb to a relatively high place, near the Drum Tower, and you can take pictures of houses from above, but this location is not very good.

I am very curious about the row of grass plants by the river. If they are built on top of the water, won’t they become more humid with the sun?

I saw that the grain drying racks in Basha Miao Village are very high, and there is no place for anyone to stand on them. I don't know how to dry them.

When I came here, I saw the villagers who were drying glutinous rice by the river, and realized that people climbed up layer by layer like climbing a ladder, and the people below threw the glutinous rice to the people above. Because there are no safety measures on the body, the people above have to stand firm and need some skills.

The cement house in the picture below should be in relatively good condition, with security doors. The houses in other villages are basically made of wood.

The only barbecue restaurant in the village has gathered a lot of people. When the whole village is almost dark, this barbecue restaurant is the only place with light. The nightlife in the village is so simple and plain.

Today we will live in Zhanli Dong Village, because there is no commercial atmosphere in Zhanli Dong Village, so the accommodation conditions are very general. The house we live in is the home of the local people, all of which are made of wood, and when walking up the stairs, there will be "squeaks and creaks", and there is no sound insulation effect at all. The roosters in Zhanli Dong Village start crowing at about 3 o'clock in the middle of the night, and they crow intermittently until 7 o'clock. Fortunately, the quality of my sleep in the middle of the night was not bad, and the first cock crowing was heard at 6 o'clock.

———— 4————

Get up in the morning, go to the viewing platform in the stockade, and walk up the slope at the entrance. This is the only place with a better view, and you can take a picture of the whole village without a drone. The well-proportioned Dong houses are elegant and simple.

When I got down from the viewing platform, it was still early, so I walked along the creek. The leisurely ducks were playing in the water, walked to the small bridge built with stone slabs, and took photos.

Huanggang Dong Village|The most brilliant smiling face

Today's first stop is Huanggang Dong Village, which does not require tickets. This is my second favorite Dong Village.

Huanggang Dong Village is composed of 5 drum towers and pure wooden stilt structures. According to the folk customs of the Dong people, a drum tower is a symbol of a branch or a surname, so the number of drum towers also means that the population of the village is large.

Huanggang Dong Village is the most well-protected Dong Village in Guizhou Province. The houses, water mills, and barns in the village are scattered and well-organized, and the layout is reasonable. The ethnic customs are rich, and the Dong folk songs have a long history, ranging from children learning the language to old people who can sing. It has the reputation of "the hometown of the Dong folk songs".

There is a large lotus pond at the entrance, some of which have withered, and will be more lively in summer.

Buy snacks at the supermarket at the gate of the village. It’s time to reveal your age. Take a look at the snacks in the picture. Did you eat them when you were young?

Many of the dolls in this village are elderly men, which is quite rare. I saw mothers carrying dolls in other villages before.

The elementary school in the village is also well built, just in time for the school to leave at noon, and the lovely children were photographed.

At this time, we met the three cutest little girls on this trip, with the brightest smiling faces. They also pose for the camera, but their poses are different, such as Bixin, Biye, and wink.

Going up the mountain is a place with a better view, and you can take a panoramic view of the village. However, the rice fields have been harvested, and the foreground is empty, which is relatively ordinary.

Mobile farm.

Zhaoxing Dong Village|The Galaxy Falls into the World

The next Dong village is my favorite village on this trip, not one of them - Zhaoxing Dong village. It is "the first Dong village in Liping", and is more familiar to tourists because it is already a mature Dong village scenic spot.

It only takes 1 hour to drive from Huanggang Dong Village, and 4 hours to drive from Guiyang.

It takes 90 minutes from Guiyang to Congjiang Station by high-speed rail, which is very convenient. After leaving the station, take a bus to the scenic spot for 25 yuan, or take a taxi for only 4 kilometers.

Tickets for Zhaoxing Dong Village are 80, valid for 3 days, and the shuttle bus is 20 round-trip.

There is a parking lot at the door, 30 yuan per day. Whether you are driving or taking a car, you can only go to the visitor center at the door (pictured below). Then take the scenic shuttle bus or walk into the village at the Guimu sightseeing station, and it is about 3 kilometers from the Guizhu sightseeing station to the Zhaoxing Dongzhai gate.

Because it has been developed into a scenic spot, the process of entering the village has become more complicated. When we went to those small villages, the car can be driven directly to the parking lot at the gate of the village.

The picture below is the first gate we saw while sitting on the sightseeing car, but it is not the gate of the village, and we have to continue to walk in.

Below is the gate of the village, but there is still a long way to go to the B&B. Because it is a stone road, it is a bit difficult to drag the suitcase. If you have a lot of luggage, it is recommended to live closer to the gate of the Zhai, or ask the B&B if there is a local car that can pick you up. go in.

Our homestay is by the river, parallel to the main road, and the scenery by the river is also very good.

After putting away our luggage, we couldn't wait to go out and visit the stockade. Due to the bad weather today, it was drizzling, the stone road was still wet, and there were not many tourists, which made the village even more quiet. I really like this kind of atmosphere. If it is not for taking pictures, listening to the sound of raindrops falling on the bluestone slabs and roofs in the hotel must be very comfortable.

The Zhaoxing Dong Village is divided into internal surnames and external surnames, and all external surnames are Lu Dong people. They live in five natural areas, which are called groups locally, namely Ren, Yi, Li, Zhi, and Xin. Therefore, there are 5 drum towers in the village. . The Drum Tower Group in Zhaoxing Dong Village is unique among the Dong villages in China and has been included in the Guinness Book of World Records. Therefore, we also took photos around these drum towers. At night, the drum towers have lights, so they are very distinctive. They are beautiful from day to night.

【Lituan Drum Tower】

The location of Lituan Drum Tower is the best place to shoot. The model can stand on the path leading to it, with the Drum Tower as the background, and the photographer stands at the intersection.

Another camera position is to sit and shoot on the stairs at the back of the Drum Tower. The ultra-wide angle is very shocking.

There are no street lights here at night, and people need to fill in the light to shoot people. If you want to take pictures of stars, you need to use a small aperture, so you must use a tripod. The model holds the mobile phone, turns on the flashlight, and can get a cool picture.

【Yituan Drum Tower】

The Yituan Drum Tower is right next to Li, and the best position is when the model stands on the bridge between the two Drum Towers (see my map above), and the photographer stands on the small road that leads to Li.

I took the photo while sitting on the fence of the bridge at night, it’s fine if I sit still, please don’t imitate it. The fireworks were uploaded by P, because the fireworks were indeed set off at 23:00 the night we stayed, but we had already returned to the hotel, so I got the inspiration for this P picture.

Because the Yituan Drum Tower is surrounded by houses, it is not easy to take pictures when you get close, because the background is too messy.

At night, under the street lights, this exhibition has a great atmosphere.

【Yituan Wind and Rain Bridge】

The 5 drum towers correspond to the 5 wind and rain bridges, and the one next to the righteous group can be checked in by the way. The photographer stood on the previous stone bridge, and it is recommended to use a symmetrical composition when taking pictures of Fengyu Bridge.

【Wisdom Group Drum Tower】

Zhizhi’s feature is that you can take pictures of the reflection of the Drum Tower, because there is a stream in front of it, the reflection is not very obvious during the day, and it is better to take pictures at night when the lights are on.

We happened to meet a performance, and there were many Dong women standing in front of the Drum Tower, just in front of us.

The Dong people carry food to prepare for the dinner in the evening.

【Xintuan Drum Tower】

The letter is the drum tower closest to the main road, so find an angle to avoid crowds.

In addition to the vicinity of the Drum Tower, the streets of Zhaoxing Dong Village are also very suitable for taking pictures. The most popular sloping street is near the Yituan Drum Tower. Just look at the Meidi Boutique Inn, and use the telephoto shot to have a more compressed feeling.

It was almost evening after shooting the Drum Tower, so we hurried to the viewing platform as soon as possible. The viewing platform is at the gate of the village. There are ethnic costumes for rent on the road we passed, 20 yuan a day, but there is no time to wear Dong costumes. The costumes of the Dong nationality are simpler than those of the Miao nationality, and I think they look better.

The viewing platform has a particularly good view, overlooking the entire village. Be sure to go to the viewing platform at around 5 o'clock in the evening, take pictures of the sunset blues, and after watching the night scene, from day to night, the starlight flows, and the scenery at every moment is extremely charming. The rice fields were gone when we went, so the outlook was empty and not perfect. The people taking pictures of the door from the viewing platform are very small, so it is recommended to stand on the side of the door to take portrait photos, and take purely landscape photos on the viewing platform.

When the lights came on, I exclaimed "wow". Although I had seen many photos before coming, the scene was still shocked. At night, the 5 drum towers are lit up, dotted scattered in the village, just like the galaxy falling into the world.

After that, the lights of the shops on both sides of the main street also turned on one after another, like two golden dragons lying in the village, and the perspective of the aerial photography was even more shocking.

The meaning is still unfinished, the shutter does not want to stop. But because there was a very lively event tonight, we saw it before going up to the viewing platform, so after shooting the night scene, we rushed to the next shooting without stopping.

This activity is Zhaifan (called Yueye in the Dong dialect), which means that the groups make appointments with each other, and dozens of tables eat together, just like the feeling of holding a banquet in our hometown. This time it was because one group helped another group cut rice, and they ate together to thank and celebrate. There is no fixed time for this kind of activities, they are held temporarily between groups, so we were very lucky to catch up with a very rare cultural scene. The party was held in front of Xintuan Drum Tower.

Girls in the Dong village are persuading them to drink.

There are many aunts resting under the Drum Tower, I mixed in and took a photo. Just as the smoke from the fire was floating in front of me, it felt like flying through the clouds and fog, and I was like a fairy haha.

After filming the party, we went to see the free performance in the Drum Tower.

Zhaoxing is not only the hometown of Drum Tower, but also the hometown of singing and dancing. In the evening, the Dong people gather happily in the Drum Tower and hold cultural and entertainment activities. The songs are especially famous, including the big songs of the Dong nationality, the songs of stepping on the hall, and the songs of blocking the road. Dong songs have melodious tones and beautiful melodies, especially the multi-part mixed chorus.

There are also fixed paid performances, Dong Nationality Song performances, from 20:00 to 21:00 in the evening, and the ticket price is 88 yuan per ticket.

After a busy day of filming, after the performance we went to check in again the scenery of each Drum Tower at night, and the photos were posted in front.

The street photos at night are also very nice. After 10 o'clock in the evening, there are a lot fewer people on the street.

I took 2 pictures by the river at the entrance of the hotel. The Zhaoxing Dong Village is really good to take pictures. I have been taking pictures all day, and I never get tired of taking pictures. The humanities, scenery, and portraits are all beautiful. When I was lying on the bed at night, I felt that my legs were so sore. I recommend that you arrange 2 days and 1 night in Zhaoxing Dong Village, so that you have more time for shooting.

When I was about to go to sleep after washing, I suddenly heard fireworks going off outside. I quickly opened the curtains and could only take pictures of this moment with my mobile phone. I glanced at the time, it was already 23:50 in the evening, I hope I have a good dream tonight.

Tang'an Dong Village|An Ecological Museum

There is a Tang’an Dong Village on the top of the Zhaoxing Dong Village, which is smaller and does not require tickets. It is only about 6 kilometers away from the Zhaoxing Dong Village. Those who like to climb mountains can even walk up. However, it is generally recommended to go up the mountain by car. There is a CMB round trip in Zhaoxing Dong Village for 20 yuan, and you can also hire a local car to go up the mountain.

What is unexpected is that Tang'an Dong Village is actually a "Dong Ecological Museum" jointly established by the Chinese and Norwegian governments, and it is one of the four ecological museums in Guizhou. Tang'an Dong Village was first built in the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty. There are more than 800 people in more than 170 households in the village, mainly with the two surnames of Ying and Lu. The village is close to the mountain, and the buildings are arranged along the contour line of the mountain, with the Drum Tower and the Theater Tower as the center.

Tang'an Dong Village is surrounded by mountains on three sides and empty terraced fields on one side, with a wide view and overlapping peaks. Therefore, the best seasons to see are the terrace irrigation period and autumn, which is normal for us at this time.

We encountered heavy rain as soon as we went up the mountain, so we could only hide from the rain in the rest pavilion and did not go out to visit the village. When the rain subsided, I took a few pictures on the stone ladder and then went down the mountain.

After getting out of Zhaoxing Dong Village, we rushed to Fanjing Mountain. Because the journey was relatively long, the journey took nearly 5 hours, and it was already evening when we arrived in Jiangkou County. Jiangkou County is located at the foot of Fanjing Mountain. To prepare for tomorrow's mountain climbing, we will stay at the hotel at the foot of the mountain to recharge our batteries tonight. After dinner, we soaked our feet in a foot bath shop near the hotel for a massage to wash away the fatigue of the past few days.

Mount Fanjing|Guizhou internet celebrity rookie

I don’t know if you have seen the short video of Mount Fanjing on the Internet this year. The red clouds and golden summit are surrounded by clouds and mist, like a fairyland. I was shocked immediately. Fanjing Mountain can definitely be rated as one of the popular Internet celebrity attractions in Guizhou this year.

But I didn't expect that it was a sunny day when we went, and I didn't see the fairyland-like "Brahma Pure Land" that made me dream.

I thought it was very cold on the mountain, so I prepared a set of the thickest clothes to wear, but when I got to the mountain, I was so hot that I almost sweated. It is recommended that you check the temperature and weather before going out. The wind on the mountain is relatively strong. It is recommended to bring a thick coat, which is easy to put on and take off, so that you can adjust the temperature and temperature in time.

Dongshan Gate (Heiwan River, Jiangkou County) admission time is 8-15 o'clock.

Xishan Gate (Huguo Temple, Yinjiang County) enters the park from 8 to 13 o'clock.

Tickets for the mountain gates on both sides cannot be used in common.

Fanjingshan tickets need to be reserved and purchased at least one day in advance, because the daily flow is limited to 6,000 people, and it is a real-name system, so be sure to bring your ID card.

The best time is to enter the scenic spot in the morning, the earlier the better, our appointment time is 9 o'clock.

When buying tickets on a third-party platform, tickets are issued randomly, and the time when the text message of the scenic spot is written shall prevail. So it is best to go to the official account to buy tickets, and you can choose the time yourself.

The big ticket + round-trip sightseeing car + round-trip cableway is a total of 210 yuan, and residents of Jiangsu Province are free of big tickets.

It is recommended that you must buy a cableway ticket to go up and down the mountain to save energy. If you have to climb the mountain for at least 6 hours, you will be too tired.

There are vendors selling trekking poles and gloves in the parking lot. There is no need to buy them when the weather is good like we went. If you are an older tourist or the weather is very cold, you can buy it, because the handrails on the stairs on the mountain are cold. It is recommended to carry food and drinks up the mountain. Of course, there are small shops on the mountain, but there are not many things to eat.

Entering Fanjing Mountain is like going to the west to learn Buddhist scriptures, going through many obstacles. You need to swipe your ID card countless times to enter, remember to keep your ID card in a place where you can take it easily, otherwise you will really be annoyed to death.

Brush once at the entrance of the gate, and then line up to take the shuttle bus. Swipe once at the entrance of the shuttle bus queue, and swipe again when it is almost time to get on the bus. Then when you get to the entrance of the cable car, you need to swipe once, and when you are about to get on the cable car, you have to swipe your ID card again. It takes about 5 or 6 times to swipe your ID card for a single trip. The distance is actually not that far, but it needs to be verified repeatedly, so you have to It takes a lot of time, and if there are many people, it will take a long time to queue up, which is why I say that the sooner you enter the scenic spot, the better. The steps to go down the mountain are still the same. If you take the cable car down and then take the shuttle bus, you have to swipe your ID card, which is a little faster than going up the mountain.

Take the cable car and finally start the real mountaineering journey. The cable car on Mount Fanjing is made in Austria. The speed of the cable car is adjusted according to the wind speed. It takes about 15-30 minutes. There is a section that is very steep. It looks almost 90 degrees, which is the section in the picture below.

After getting off the cable car, there will be signs telling you the way up the mountain, but we took the route the locals told us, that is, go to the left, which is the route down the mountain, which is gentler and shorter. But this is only suitable when there are few people. When we go, there are few tourists, so it will not affect others going down the mountain (there is a guardrail in the middle of the stairs, so there are two roads). If there are many tourists, we should follow the big troops up the mountain Walk.

Climbing up to a viewing platform, I have already approached the Red Cloud Golden Summit, and I am here to check in a tourist photo.

Continue to go up, and you will arrive at Pudu Square, which is a flat area for people to rest. On the left side of the square is the Red Cloud Golden Summit, and on the right side is the Mushroom Cloud.

Although our sunny day today is very suitable for mountain climbing, it lacks a sense of hierarchy for photography. It just feels like there is a big rock in front of a blue background board. From a photography point of view, it is easier to produce large films in cloudy weather.

Hongyunjinding can also be climbed up, but the stairs are narrow and steep, and everyone should do what they can according to their physical condition. When there are many people, you can only queue up one by one and climb up one by one, which is very time-consuming.

In fact, it is too close to Hongyun Jinding to take pictures. It is recommended that everyone walk in the direction of the mushroom cloud, and then take pictures of Hongyun Jinding from a distance.

There is a plank road leading out of the Mushroom Cloud. You can stand on this sharp corner to take pictures and avoid tourists. Because I wore black clothes, the characters didn't stand out, so bright clothes are recommended.

This is the Mushroom Stone. The upper and lower stones are staggered and stacked together, but it doesn't look like a mushroom to me.

After going down the mountain, there are food and fruit for sale at the exit. It is the best thing to eat some fruit after climbing the mountain.

Zhenyuan Ancient City|It is the appearance in memory

Our next stop is Zhenyuan Ancient City.

When I came to Guizhou 6 years ago, I went to the ancient city of Zhenyuan. At that time, there were restaurants and homestays on both sides of the river. I thought that the business atmosphere should be more serious after these years, but it seems to be the same as 6 years ago. Everyone has their own definition of whether the business atmosphere is important or not, but I like a business atmosphere, because it is more suitable for tourism, there are restaurants, more accommodation options, complete facilities, enough lights at night, and some ancient cities Still can retain its own characteristics, very suitable for travel.

6 years ago, I just got the first SLR in my life, but I still don’t know how to take pictures, and I haven’t left many photos. Many details of my travels have been forgotten. This time, I finally had another chance to record my favorite ancient town.

We arrived in the afternoon, stayed for one night, and left at noon the next day. We had a good experience of the night view and early morning of the ancient city of Zhenyuan, and the photos were amazing.

No tickets are required to enter the ancient city. However, the scenic spot is restricted, and self-driving cars cannot drive inside, they can only park in the parking lot, and the hotel can pick it up.

The ancient city is not big, but one day and one night is enough for sightseeing.

After arriving, walk freely in the ancient city. In the evening, go to the New Bridge to take pictures of the sunset and night scenes. The lights are turned on at 19:00 every night, and you take pictures in the direction of Zhenjiang Pavilion, which is the direction of the sunset. The houses on both sides are brightly lit, the corners of the cornices are raised, and the reflection of the waves is quiet and leisurely.

Use a slow shutter speed to take pictures of the trail of the boat passing by.

There is a water cruise at night, the ticket is 78 yuan, but it is not very recommended, because the scenery you see is the houses on both sides of the strait, and you can see it when you walk.

The entire street by the river is full of restaurants. The specialty of Zhenyuan Ancient Town is grilled fish with bean curd. The bean curd is super delicious, and it’s free and unlimited, and the fish is also delicious. There are many restaurants, and we chose the one with the highest rating on the reviews, without stepping on the thunder.

After eating, go to Renshou Lane across the bridge. This is an alley with many lanterns, which is suitable for taking portraits of night scenes. It will be relatively quieter across the bridge because there are fewer restaurants.

Walking a little further into the alley is the ancient residence of Youti Hongda. The street lights at the entrance have a sense of atmosphere, but the characters need to be illuminated to be photographed.

Then go to the street under Shiping Mountain. At night, there are many small lights on Shiping Mountain, which look like a sky full of stars.

Standing in the middle of the street on Qingshiban Road, I used a large aperture to take pictures of light spots. I was so surprised to find this dreamy secret place in the ancient city.

The lights of the Zhusheng Bridge at night are very gorgeous, and the lights on the bridge will change colors. The "star" on the mountain is a particularly interesting design, which makes the night in the ancient city more special and beautiful.

A crescent moon hangs high in the sky, and the tourists all go back to rest. The ancient town gradually becomes quieter, and the night is so beautiful.

Zhenyuan Ancient City|Shocking clouds and sunrises

In the early morning, you can climb Shiping Mountain to watch the morning fog and sunrise. This is the best place to overlook the whole city, and the ticket is 15. If you have aerial photography, it is better to let the drone help you take pictures through the clouds instead of climbing the mountain by yourself.

It was not yet fully lit in the morning, and some street lights were still on. Zhang Li got up early to take aerial photos. He devoted himself to taking photos of clouds and mist all the way, and finally in Zhenyuan, he had this perfect sea of clouds and sunrise.

There is still plenty of time in the morning to go to Qinglong Cave, the ticket is 30, or continue to stroll around the alleys.

We chose to take pictures by the river, the river is very green, and taking a back view is very artistic.

There is no light on the Zhusheng Bridge during the day, and it looks completely different from the night. The quaint appearance during the day makes it hard to imagine that it is so gorgeous at night.

In fact, looking out of the window of the homestay is also very good for taking pictures, which has a poetic flavor of "a slim person leaning on the rails alone".

Qianhu Miao Village|The World of Spirited Away

Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village is a hot tourist destination this year. It is the largest Miao village in the world. It is composed of more than 10 natural villages built on the mountain. It is a "museum" of the original ecological culture of the Miao people. The Miao buildings are mainly wooden stilted buildings, which are piercing bucket-style gable top structures. The small river that crosses the Miao village is the Baishui River. The aerial photography of the wooden houses stacked on top of each other is a bit like the fairy tale "Spirited Away".

Like Zhaoxing Dongzhai, once it becomes a scenic spot, the route to enter the village is a pattern, and the car can only be parked in the parking lot of the tourist service center. Then take the scenic shuttle bus to the gate of the village, and then walk to your homestay. And because the Miao Village is bigger, there are more stone roads than Zhaoxing. Our homestay is in the center, and it is difficult to walk with a suitcase, and it is very laborious. It is recommended to put on a backpack and enter the village.

It is recommended to go to the west gate by car, the west gate is at the top of the mountain, the tourist bus stops at the north gate, and the north gate is at the foot of the mountain. However, it is recommended to check whether the west gate is closed in advance if you are driving by car. If it is closed, you can only go to the north gate. The parking fee is 3 yuan per hour, capped at 30 yuan per day.

Take the high-speed rail to Kaili South Station. After exiting the station, there are direct buses to Miao Village. There are also many carpooling private cars. It is very convenient and costs about 40 yuan.

Tickets + 4 trips of sightseeing cars (4 trips in and out of the scenic spot and up and down the viewing platform) total 65 yuan. There are 12 wine performances at the gate.

The boarding point of the shuttle bus to and from the scenic spot is near No. 5 Fengyu Bridge, and the boarding point of the viewing platform is near No. 1 Fengyu Bridge.

If you want to go to the viewing platform in the village several times, you can buy tickets separately at the boarding point, 5 yuan per time, but it is recommended to go to the viewing platform once, because the view is not very good, it is a bit blocked, and the perspective of aerial photography most.

After unpacking, we went out to take pictures.

On the way, I met a Miao woman who was rushing to perform.

In the afternoon, you can come to the folk song and dance performance venue, and there will be a song and dance performance around 2 o'clock. Now this platform is built, a certain mobile game is advertising, it feels very out of place, and it is a bit unpleasant.

There are many shops for renting Miao clothing in Miao Village. The performance square is around the circle, and Miao clothing costs about 20-30 yuan an hour. In addition to here, there are rental points near the viewing platform and Fengfeng Bridge.

We checked in all the good-looking camera positions in Miao Village, and sorted them out in detail. Follow me to take pictures.

At first I wore my own skirt, but Zhang Li felt that it would be more interesting to wear Miao costumes, so we changed into a set of blue Miao costumes and we went to shoot again. In fact, I think my skirt is also very good-looking, and everyone wears Miao clothing, which is not distinctive anymore.

Remember to wear shorter pants inside, don't show it, and it's best to match the shoes. I wore my own little white shoes, which made it easier to walk.

I wore this blue Miao dress when I was married. It is a very traditional Miao dress. The headdress is very heavy and tied to my head with a rope. After a long time, my head hurts and it feels like a curse. Be very careful when walking, as it is easy to bump into leaves or other people.

Seat: [Stone Bridge next to Fengyu Bridge No. 5]

Features: Best for sitting and shooting

This location was taken by God rk. There is a stream of water under your feet, and the background is layers of Miao village houses. It is very beautiful. But there are a lot of wires on the stone wall behind, and I dropped a lot of them.

If you wear Miao clothing, you must sit on the stone bridge and spread out the big skirt, which is very beautiful.

Seat: [Stone Bridge between No. 3-4 Wind and Rain Bridge]

Features: With Fengyu Bridge and Miao Village as the background

One side of this stone bridge is water flow, and the other side is a stone embankment without water. There is a small wooden board in the middle where you can stand and take pictures, and you need to pay attention to safety.

Behind it is No. 3 Fengyu Bridge and the cascading wooden houses. Photographers can stand on No. 4 Fengyu Bridge to take pictures.

I took a group photo with another Miao girl, and girlfriend photos can be taken like this.

Seat: [No. 3 Wind and Rain Bridge]

Features: Take close-up shots of people, frame pictures

It is suitable for shooting when the light is strong in the afternoon, because the light on the bridge is not very hard, and people can be photographed beautifully. On the other side of the bridge is a whole row of shops for renting seedling clothes. When I took pictures, I took them as the background, and it happened to be backlit, which felt very local. There is a small parallel bridge next to No. 3 Wind and Rain Bridge. The photographer stood on the small bridge and the model sat on the Wind and Rain Bridge.

Seat: [Stones by the River]

Features: Shoot the stones by the river

In addition to the Wind and Rain Bridge on the river, the stones by the river are also very suitable for taking pictures. They also use the Wind and Rain Bridge as the background. You can use the stones as the foreground or stand on the stones. Just when we passed by the river, there was a birdcage, so I used it as a prop.

I passed by a canteen and saw that their attic was very nice, so I went up and took a picture of "Miss Attic" after asking for permission.

Seat: [Miao Village Street]

Features: backlight street photography

The streets of Miao Village are very distinctive, it is recommended to shoot in the early morning, the light is soft, and there are few tourists on the road. In the evening, you can take backlit photos. There are outline lights around the characters, and they look beautiful in Miao clothes!

After taking pictures of the Wind and Rain Bridge, we went to the bus stop of No. 1 Bridge to take a bus to the viewing platform.

There is a roof of a house in front of the viewing platform that will block the view, which is not very good.

Leaving the viewing platform, we went to check in at the hottest seat in Miao Village this year. The Yunting Panorama Restaurant is near the viewing platform. We ate here after we finished shooting, so the store allowed us to take pictures for a long time. In addition to this, there are many homestays on the mountain that are also suitable for taking pictures, but you have to stay in to take pictures.

Seat: [Yunting Panorama Restaurant]

Features: Commanding heights, with Miao Village as the background.

It is best to go around 17:00 in the evening, and you can take pictures of the three time periods of daytime, blues and night scenes.

After 18:00, they can only be taken by their photographers. Tourists are not allowed to take pictures. If you want to ask their photographers to take pictures, 100 yuan will be charged for 5 retouched photos. There are many props and fairy wands. You need to make an appointment in advance.

You must bring a telephoto lens, at least 70mm or more. We used 85mm f1.8 fixed focus to shoot. The large aperture night scene is very advantageous, and it can shoot beautiful light spots.

After taking a few photos, Zhang Li felt that I still needed to wear Miao clothes, so I went to the viewing platform and rented a red one. Zhang Li took advantage of the time when I was changing clothes to fly the drone to take pictures. At this time, a wisp of green smoke rose from the village, which just created a good feeling for the Miao Village.

I'm back with a change of clothes, and I'm starting to post a lot of photos of me.

It is not allowed to sit outside in this pavilion. As soon as I sat outside, the people in the restaurant shouted to let me in, which really shocked me, so I hurried to sit inside.

The restaurant photographer prepared fairy sticks for the customers who made appointments, and gave us two fairy sticks to take pictures.

After the sky was completely dark, all the houses built on the basis of the mountain were glowing with stars, and the whole Miao village was like a river of stars. I seemed to have really fallen into the world in a fairy tale. Thousands of Miao Villages are charming from day to night.

----8----

On the last morning, I went to the viewing platform with Zhang Li to take pictures of the morning fog. It was still dark, so I resisted my sleepiness and set up a tripod.

Good morning, photographers.

But bad luck today, no morning fog. Because the surrounding mountains are very high, you can't see the sunrise at dawn. I only captured the feeling of the Miao Village lighting up the lights one after another in the early morning and starting to wake up.

So after going down the mountain, I took the last two parting photos on the street. There were few tourists in the early morning and the light was better.

Seat: [Gage Ancient Alley]

Features: full of oil paper umbrellas

Gage Ancient Alley is an alley full of oil-paper umbrellas, very tasteful, and it is also good when there are lights at night.

Langde Shangzhai|Mountains and rivers meet again

The last stop is Langde Miao Village. It is one of the earliest Miao villages in Southeast Guizhou that opened to the outside world. of. Langde Miao village is divided into upper village and lower village. The upper village is open to tourists. During the festival or when the tour group comes, there will be a warm welcoming ceremony and grand reed dance, copper drum dance, bench dance and other Miao song and dance performances.

Tickets are 50 yuan/person, and sightseeing cars are 10 yuan/person for a round trip.

Tonggu Field Original Ecological Song and Dance Performance: 11:00-11:30, 17:00-17:30, no performance on rainy days.

Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum: 8:30—17:00.

Instructor: 150 yuan/3 hours.

After the car stops at the Tourist Service Center, take a sightseeing car and enter the village. It's far away from the hustle and bustle, very quiet. The stockade is located in the green hills, with antique buildings on stilts standing against the hill, a small stream quietly flowing at the gate of the stockade, and a wind and rain bridge spanning the bank of the stream.

A commemorative stone stands at the gate of the village, which was once "the place where the Olympic torch passed". The starting ceremony of the 2008 Olympic torch relay in Guizhou Kaili was held at Tongguping in Langde Shangzhai, which made Langde Shangzhai famous at that time.

Langde Shangzhai is the "Hometown of Chinese Folk Song and Dance Art", "National Hundreds of Open-air Museums" and "Hometown of Lusheng". I think ethnic minorities are very good at singing and dancing, so they all have these titles.

When entering Langde Shangzhai, you must first drink twelve roadblock wines. There are usually two types of Miao wine. One is home-brewed strong and mellow grain wine, which is given to men, while women use relatively mild glutinous rice wine. Each wine card is placed on a square table, and two Miao girls in costumes stand beside them, carrying pots and cups, and toasting to the guests. The last wine card is to enter the gate tower of the village, and the earthen bowl is replaced by a big ox horn. Guests are not allowed to clink glasses, and only those who have finished drinking can enter the village.

Tourists who love to drink can drink up to 12 courses. If you are too strong to drink, you can also politely refuse, and Miao girls will not force others.

Langde Shangzhai's costumes are all characterized by long skirts, regardless of men, women and children, so they are also called "long skirt seedlings".

Among the performers playing Lusheng, this old man is the most distinctive, with a bowed waist and a gray beard, smoking a cigarette while waiting for the performance.

The little girls are very well-behaved, and their costumes are simple and ethnic, which I quite like.

The little boy is also wearing a long coat, and his walking posture is very handsome and casual.

Fighting cocks and birds are popular in the stockade, and this is their fighting cock, which indeed looks more powerful than domestic chickens.

After passing the bar for drinks, the performers walked along the stone path and walked into the reed field in the center of the village. Here you can enjoy a variety of Miao songs and dances such as toasting songs, reed dances, bronze drums, group dances, etc.

The huge reed in the grandfather's hand, I thought it was a decoration, but I didn't expect that the grandfather really blew it.

The children from Langde Shangzhai will also come out to perform and dance in a circle.

Each performer will be assigned a badge before the performance as a proof of their payment after the performance. There are 147 households and more than 500 people in the whole village. It is also a very good thing that each person brings income to the village and his family by performing for tourists.

For lunch, we had a long-table feast in the village. The Miao people’s way of toasting is called "high mountains and flowing water". Like spring water, a steady stream of rice wine flows into the mouths of the guests, which is really a time to test the drinking capacity. Girls from the Miao family can also sing and pour wine. The singing doesn't stop and the wine doesn't stop. Of course, for tourists, the girls will still be merciful.

Post a photo of Tension being poured with enthusiasm.

After eating this meal, I rushed back to Guiyang Airport and said goodbye to Guizhou. We will meet again~

——The strategy is here——

【journey】

A total of 8 days of travel, the whole route is a triangle, do not go back. I drove more than 1,000 kilometers by myself, and the road conditions were very good. Except for some winding roads, it was very easy to drive. Since there is a certain distance between the scenic spots, and some villages that have not been commercialized have inconvenient traffic, self-driving is the most suitable. If you only go to those scenic spots that have been developed, you can get there by public transportation.

【spend】

1. Air ticket: Shanghai round trip is about 1500, accounting for the bulk.

2. Car rental: the cost per capita is more than 1,000 points.

3. Accommodation: Except for the night in Zhanli, I lived in a local family’s house, and the others lived in three-star hotels and homestays. The average per capita is about 150 per night, and they are all quite clean.

4. Meals: Prices in Guizhou are also good. If you just want to eat, a bowl of noodles is enough. Eat better and not expensive, about 80 per capita.

?The total per capita is about 4500.

【Food】

Speaking of food, the most famous ones in Guizhou are Laoganma and Moutai. Of course, these two things are not what I want to recommend.

Closer to home, there are many delicacies in Guizhou, and the characteristics are only two words, sour and spicy.

Fish is eaten the most, and the most famous one is fish in sour soup. The sour soup is very appetizing, sour and spicy, but there are a lot of fish bones, which I don't like very much.

I still prefer this pot of soy milk fish. I eat it in Zhaoxing Dongzhai. It is not a traditional local dish, but a creative dish. I think the taste is better.

Grilled fish with bean curd is also my favorite. I ate it in the ancient city of Zhenyuan. The bean curd is super delicious, and there are free refills.

There are also folding ear roots and silk dolls, which are Guizhou characteristics.

I tried silk baby when I first went to Guizhou, it wasn't my favorite, so I didn't eat it this time.

【END】

This is the end of this Guizhou cultural journey~

In the new year, I will continue to look for interesting places in China, remember to follow me~
