01 Heshun Ancient Town - a frontier town with white walls and gray tiles
Heshun Ancient Town is a border town with a history of 600 years. It is a famous hometown of overseas Chinese. The old streets and alleys, Qingshiban Road, ancestral halls, and archways were all built in the Ming and Qing Dynasties.
Here you can experience the beauty of the rural scenery, the uniqueness of small bridges and flowing water, the charm of history and culture, the peaceful and harmonious folk customs, and the "messy" architectural style.
There are vast fields outside the ancient town of Heshun. The large fields are the most beautiful pastoral scenery. In spring, it is also full of golden yellow.

After passing the ticket gate, go forward and pass the Shuanghong Bridge. In front of you is the Heshun Library. To the left, there are the Mabang Memorial Hall, Yuanlong Pavilion, Ai Siqi’s Former Residence, Longtan, Liu’s Ancestral Hall, Bar Street and other scenic spots; to the right, there is a curved building Zi, Cun's Ancestral Hall, Avalokitesvara and other scenic spots.

Tips:
1. You don't need to buy tickets for purely visiting the ancient town and staying in the inn, and it is open all day, but you need to buy tickets for cultural scenic spots such as Heshun Library and Ai Siqi Ancient Town.
2. The buses in Tengchong do not announce the stop. You can ask the driver to call you after arriving at the stop in advance, or ask the locals on the bus.
02 Hot Sea/Hot Spring - Tengchong Tourism Logo
The only national 5A-level scenic spot in Tengchong, there are so many springs, rich steam, and large flow in the area, which is rare in the country. You can soak in hot springs in the scenic area, so remember to bring your swimsuit before you go out; you can boil eggs in a big boiling pot, and the price is lower if you buy it from the entrance of the scenic area. There are about 2 kilometers of hiking in the scenic spot, and it is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
After arriving at the parking lot, there is still a certain distance from the scenic spot. You can choose to take a battery car to visit the Hot Sea Big Rolling Pot, cook eggs, and then go down the mountain to visit the hot springs such as Pregnancy Well, Sister Spring, Pearl Spring, and Hamozui. The battery car is 15 yuan per person one way, and it is not too far to go up and down the mountain on foot.
There are hot sea and beauty pools to choose from for hot springs, and there are more than 20 open-air and semi-open-air original hot springs and special hot springs in Yugu. The beauty pool has 3 open-air bubble pools, 4 rock cave bubble pools and a large swimming pool. It is a pure natural SPA paradise. There are many hot sea sulfur springs, which are very effective in treating skin diseases.
There are various types of hot spring resorts around Tengchong and hot springs in the hot sea area for friends to choose from. However, since Tengchong hot springs are mainly natural hot springs, the geographical location is far away. It is recommended to drive or charter a car to go there.

Transportation: Rehai Scenic Area is 12 kilometers away from Tengchong County. You can take bus No. 2 and get off at Rehai (terminal station). There is also a special line bus to the south of Huancheng South Road in Tengchong County, and the fare is 6 yuan. At the intersection of Rehai Road and Financial Road, the fare is 5 yuan, and you can go as soon as it is full. There are also battery cars in the scenic area. From the gate of the scenic spot to the entrance of Atami, it costs 15 yuan for a one-way trip and 25 yuan for a round trip. The one-way journey takes about 5 minutes. You can also walk, about 15 minutes to the entrance.
03 Ginkgo Village - a paradise for photographers
In Tengchong, where the seasons are like spring and the scenery is pleasant, there is one place that stands out in autumn and winter and attracts many tourists. This is Tengchong Jiangdong Ginkgo Village. There are more than 3,000 ancient ginkgo trees planted in the village, including more than 30,000 seedlings, making it a veritable ginkgo village.
This scenic spot is a seasonal scenic spot. Friends can only enjoy the beautiful scenery of "the city is full of golden armor" from the beginning of November to mid-December every year. It is also a gathering place for photography lovers every year.
Therefore, if you want to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Gingko Village, you need to book a house in the village 2-3 months in advance, otherwise you can only have a quick glimpse that day.

04Tengchong Volcanic Geothermal National Geopark
Volcanoes and hot seas accompany each other, which is a major geological wonder in Tengchong. There are 97 volcanoes in Tengchong, most of which are dormant volcanoes. The most concentrated area of volcanic cones is Mazhan Volcano Park, and the main body of the park is Dakong Mountain and Xiaokong Mountain.
After the ticket check is over, it is recommended to go to the Volcano Museum at the entrance to learn about volcanoes, which is more conducive to the next visit. The volcano facing the Volcano Avenue at the entrance is Dakong Mountain.
The big and small empty mountains are currently the main tourist areas of the Volcano Park. If you don't climb the mountain to see the crater, you will see a "headless" flat-topped mountain covered with green pines. Climbing up the mountain, you can see the "iron pot"-shaped hollow crater. It is recommended to watch the volcano from the air to experience a deeper experience.
Come to Tengchong Volcanic Geological Park in the early morning to take a hot air balloon ride. This is the only national wetland reserve in Yunnan Province. A meadow, surrounded by mountains, and a babbling wooden plank road, this is the initial impression of Beihai Wetland.
Every year in mid-April, Beihai orchids are in full bloom, which is the most beautiful time of the year in Beihai. Beihai is a floating carpet wetland with good ecology and rich species, and wild flowers bloom all year round.
Although as a national wetland reserve, tourists are not allowed to step on the wetland, but in order for tourists to experience the original wetland fun, there will be some grass rafts around the scenic spot for tourists to step on.

07 National Cemetery
The Tengchong National Martyr Cemetery is a martyr's cemetery built to commemorate the fallen soldiers of the 20th Army that conquered Tengchong after the Chinese Expeditionary Force regained western Yunnan and won the Myitkyina Anti-Japanese War during World War II. Founded in 1945, it is the only large-scale Anti-Japanese War memorial cemetery in Yunnan and rare in China.
In the Tengchong National Martyr Cemetery, there is a stone carving of "Heaven and Earth Righteousness". Careful friends will find that the word "地" is "wrong", and there is a vertical line missing! In fact, Mr. Yu Youren wrote it wrong on purpose at that time, because the Anti-Japanese War in western Yunnan was too tragic, and more than 100,000 men in western Yunnan who died in the war did not return to the hot land of Tengchong.

08 Relying on the sky: Yunfeng Mountain
Xu Xiake once wrote for Yunfeng Mountain; "This is a blessed land of Lingshan, like the Canglong Ridge of Taihua". It is the commanding height of Tengchong and a holy place of Taoism in China.
Yunfeng Mountain is the spiritual mountain of Taoism in western Yunnan. Regardless of religion, Yunfeng Mountain rises from the ground and pierces the sky. The mountainside is surrounded by misty clouds and mists. The whole mountain is like a fairyland on earth.
Climbing to the top of Yunfeng, no matter watching the sun, clouds or mountains, will make people shake their minds and experience the wonderful feeling of "flying like a fairy".
Yunfeng Mountain is steep. It is a very good experience and an unforgettable challenge to climb up along the more than 2,700 steps of climbing through the rocks on the cliffs and rocks, enjoying the beautiful scenery along the way. The summit of Yunfeng Mountain is 2445 meters above sea level, which can be described as infinite scenery. There are forty-three nearly vertical stone ladders chiseled in a rock near the peak. Visitors need to hold on to the iron chains on both sides to climb up the steps. It is very exciting to climb.

Tips:
The one-way hike up and down Yunfeng Mountain is close to 10km, and not everyone can bear such a difficult hike. If your physical strength is not very good, it is recommended to take the cable car up and down the mountain.
The cable car does not go directly to the top of the mountain, even if you take the cable car, there are nearly 700 steps to climb.
