Accommodation: One month in advance on Ctrip, according to the map, I chose a hotel between the east side of the Forbidden City and the west side of Wangfujing. At first, I wanted to book a courtyard house on Nanchizi Street on the east side of the Forbidden City, less than one kilometer away from Tiananmen Square. As a result, it was too early to accept the order. Then, under the strong request of the pig teammate, he reluctantly cut the meat and booked another nearby hotel on Ctrip.
Transportation: The transportation is basically by walking. At that time, I only wanted to be close to the Forbidden City and Wangfujing to go shopping. After staying here, I found that there are a lot of people in the small holiday. The subway doesn’t stop at Tiananmen Station, and traffic is restricted during peak hours. On the way, Didi Taxi did not take orders at all. When we retreated on the last day, a disabled motorcycle was crowded, and the driver aunt fled the crowd all the way in a thrilling way.
Tickets: The Forbidden City has a limited number of online reservations, 80,000 people per day. When I checked online a week in advance, tens of thousands of tickets for the festival were gone. I was afraid of rain, so I booked two tickets every day. There were morning tickets and afternoon tickets. When highlighting the crowds in the Royal Garden, adopt flexible and mobile guerrilla tactics to keep a distance from the tens of thousands of troops. To the south, it is the line of Kunning Palace and Qianqing Palace on the middle road that goes against the flow of people; to the east, it is the line of East Sixth Palace and Treasure Hall on the right road that goes against the flow of people. Whichever side has fewer people chooses which side.
The Nanshan wild monkeys tend to choose the line of Kunning Palace and Qianqing Palace in the middle road as much as possible, so that the road to travel is less.
After the line of Kunning Palace and Qianqing Palace is completed, the left and middle points of the Forbidden City are all over, and the guerrilla area turns to the right line of East Sixth Palace and Treasure Hall.

If you did not book tickets for the Treasure Hall when you booked tickets on the official website of the Forbidden City, you have to bring cash.
The area of the Treasure Hall is larger than expected, and the area feels similar to that of the East Sixth Palace next door. Entering from the Nine-Dragon Wall, there are a large number of treasures in the corridors on both sides of the Huangji Hall, but when there are few people, you can look slowly through the glass windows. The east corridor is dominated by religious utensils, and the west corridor is dominated by jewelry and jade.
There are also many treasures in the halls behind, and there is also Changyin Pavilion along the way, a spot with a high rate of appearance in Qing palace dramas. If you go all the way to the bottom of Zhenfei Well, go to the nearest exit of Shenwumen. If you go back to Jiulongbi by the same way, go to the nearest exit of Donghuamen.
If you go out of the Shenwu Gate through Zhenfei Well, you can go back to the previously crowded imperial garden. Walk to the east and exit Donghua Gate, and you can climb to the city on the left side of the gate. There is a small museum of architecture in the tower, looking south, the turret, going north, the turret. You have clocked in three of the four corner towers of the Forbidden City.
Then go down to the Donghua Gate to take pictures of the three main halls, as if entering the land of no one, smiling proudly at the top of the Forbidden City.

However, everything is not over yet. From outside the Donghuamen all the way to the north, you can swing to the corner tower on the northeast side. When the physical strength is not enough, sit and check in at the coffee in the corner of the Forbidden City on the west side of Shenwumen. It is recommended not to sit inside the store.
