I don't know when the feeling of wanting to visit Taiwan began, but it happened during our National Day holiday. This time we spent 7 days playing in Taipei and its surrounding areas. Although it seems that we have plenty of time, we feel that the schedule is full every day. This is my first time writing a travelogue. I have seen a lot of it before. Let me post a set of beautiful photos first. Don’t post if you don’t like it.

1. Preparation

1. Apply for a Taiwan entry permit and endorse it. Go to the immigration hall to apply. The visa is valid for half a year. In August this year, the visa to Taiwan was suspended. Fortunately, it was done early, otherwise this trip to Taipei would not have been possible.

2. Make a reservation at a certain treasure to go through the entry procedures. The procedures for entering Taiwan are easy to handle, and you can directly hand it over to a certain treasure without any worries.

3. Buy traffic cards and phone cards. The MRT card is very convenient in Taipei City. This trip is mainly by subway. The subway in Taipei is similar to that in Beijing. You can reach almost any place you want to go by subway. Metro cards are divided into regular version and cartoon version. If you want to keep a souvenir, you can buy the cartoon version, which is a little more expensive; you can buy a 7-day unlimited (total) 4G traffic (not including calls), and the speed is still very fast.

4. Purchase air tickets and book hotels. We booked air tickets and hotels three months in advance. The air tickets were booked on Air China’s official website, and 2570 Beijing flew to Taipei for a single round trip. The hotel was booked at the Taipei Harmony Hotel (Taipei Minsheng Museum), which is very close to the subway. The room is clean and the breakfast is commendable.

5. Book a pick-up and drop-off in Taipei. It is also booked directly from a certain treasure, about RMB 100, saving you from dragging your luggage around.

6. Weather conditions. It is recommended to check the weather forecast in advance. Before we go, it is predicted that there will be rain in the few days we went, but after going there, it will be very sunny and hot.

Let's get down to business, and the journey begins.

2. Itinerary

1. After checking into the hotel, we took a short rest and went to wander around Taipei 101. According to the introduction on the Internet, we wandered to the legendary best alley where we took a photo with 101. It was not far away. We happened to stroll nearby and saw a folk concert. Feeling, this is called travel. On the first day we ate Master Hong’s Beef Noodles. There was also a famous lo mei. I forgot what it was called. It tasted very good. After drinking Xingfutang milk tea, we named it the best milk tea in Taipei~

2. Arranged near New Taipei City the next day. We first went to the Beitou Library and Beitou Hot Spring Museum. The whole Beitou area felt very quiet. Although there were not many people, there was a feeling of tranquility. In the afternoon, we went to Tamkang Middle School (Jay Chou's alma mater) and Truth University, which we had been thinking about so much. We walked the big uphill where Jay Chou went to school, and ate at the restaurant where Jay Chou is said to eat. When the sun goes down, I come to Fisherman's Wharf, take a walk on the pier with my favorite people, shop in small shops, and watch the sunset together.

3. On the third day, we took the Ruifang Line train to Ruifang and Jiufen, looking for a quiet town and Spirited Away. It is still very convenient to go to Ruifang. You can get there directly by train. The whole journey takes about an hour, and you will pass Nuannuan Station (the song of Liang Jingru), follow Jingtong Railway Station --> Jingtong Railway Story Hall --> Pingxi Bridge ——> Pingxi Old Street ——> Shifen Station —> Shifen Old Street —> Houtong Cat Village for a long time, there are too many people. Went to Jiufen at night, the whole Jiufen was still very quiet, people were all stuck in the pedestrian street, we took a small road with twists and turns, although the road was a bit rough, we enjoyed a moment of peace.

4. The fourth day of hanging out. The first three days felt like a long journey, so we decided to wander around in Taipei City, went to Ximending, and experienced the "Xidan + Nanluoguxiang" in Taipei. In the evening, I decided to find a place to press my feet, and found a shrimp fishing ground near the hotel to experience local shrimp fishing ~ it was very fun!

5. On the fifth day, Songshan Cultural and Creative Park + Eslite Bookstore. I ate Taipei's spicy pot and Ichiran ramen. Mala pot seems to be popular in Taipei recently, even on TV.

6. Day six, a day of relaxation. Arranged to walk Zhongxiao East Road five times, stroll around Eslite Bookstore and night market. Zhongxiao East Road is an area with a lot of small shops. Eslite Bookstore is really a place worth visiting. I’m going home tomorrow. I don’t want to be too full today. I’m tired and go back to the hotel to rest for a while. Also, go to the night market at night to experience the nightlife in Taipei (I also went there once two days ago, and here are the pictures together).

7. On the seventh day, return.

Many people like to travel around the island in Taiwan, but I still think that tourism that integrates into local life is called tourism. The seven days in Taipei are very fulfilling and pleasant. I don't know when I will go to Taiwan next time, and I don't know if I will go to Taipei again, but this trip to Taipei, being able to be with the people I love, I don't think I will forget it.
