Western Xia
Xixia (1038-1227 A.D.) was a political power established by party members in western China in Chinese history. Because it was located in the northwest of China, it was called Xixia in history.
The Dangxiang people originally settled in the Songpan Plateau of Sichuan. During the period of Emperor Gaozong of Tang Dynasty, it was oppressed by Tubo. In 1288 A.D., Kublai Khan, the ancestor of the Yuan Dynasty, changed Xingqing Mansion to Ningxia Road in the 25th year of the Yuan Dynasty. People in Ningxia, the summer land is peaceful! This name is still in use today.
Now there is no Dangxiang clan. It is said that Genghis Khan was defeated by Xixia. After Xixia was destroyed, Genghis Khan massacred Xixia and gave the original place of Xixia to the descendants of Arabs and Persians (Hui people).
