Today, I participated in the two-day tour of Zhenyuan Ancient City + Fanjing Mountain from Guiyang, booked on Ctrip, including lunch, nanny car, high-end inn class, group fee 1105 yuan/person, Zhenyuan is about 280 kilometers away from Guiyang, and it takes about 4 hours to drive.

Zhenyuan County

Zhenyuan County is a county under the jurisdiction of Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture. It is located in the Wuling Mountains in the east of Guizhou. It is the east gate of Guizhou. Ping Town, Yangchang Town, Duping Town, Jianggu Town, Jinbao Town, Yongxi Township, Baojing Township, Dadi Township, and Shangzhai Tujia Township have an area of about 1,878 square kilometers and a population of about 259,000.

Zhenyuan Ancient City

Zhenyuan Ancient City is located on the banks of the Wuyang River in Zhenyuan County, Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture, Guizhou Province. It is surrounded by mountains, and the river winds through the city in an "S" shape. The north bank is the old Fucheng, and the south bank is the old Acropolis. Both cities were built in the Ming Dynasty, and there are still some walls and gates.

The ancient city of Zhenyuan covers an area of about 3.1 square kilometers. There are eight assembly halls, four caves, eight temples, nine temples, twelve wharfs and Fuwei Ancient City Huan. The main attractions include Qinglong Cave, Longevity Palace, Zhusheng Bridge, Fuwei Ancient City Huan, and Heping Village. , Zhou Dawen's former residence, etc.

It was built in the Qing Dynasty and was built in the second year of Hongwu in the early Ming Dynasty. It is said that due to the outbreak of mountain torrents, the bridge was washed away several times, and it was not completed until 1723, the first year of Yongzheng.

Fanjing Mountain is named after "Brahma Pure Land". It is located at the junction of Yinjiang, Jiangkou and Songtao counties in the middle of Tongren City, Guizhou Province. It is the main peak of Wuling Mountains. It is a famous Buddhist mountain and nature reserve in China. On July 2, 2018, China's Guizhou Fanjing Mountain was approved to be included in the World Natural Heritage List at the World Heritage Conference held in Manama, Bahrain.

The ticket price of Fanjingshan scenic spot in peak season is 110 yuan per person. It is said that after the successful application of the World Heritage Site, Fanjingshan will limit the number of tourists to 10,000 people per day, including 8,000 people at the east gate and 2,000 people at the west gate.

The tour route of Fanjing Mountain is roughly the Huguo Temple Mountain Gate (West Gate) Huguo Temple Station - Mianxuling Station - Buddha Worship Platform - Pudu Square - Cableway Up Station - Cableway Down Station - East Gate, the whole journey is about 7 hours.

Hongyun Jinding is the main peak of Fanjing Mountain. The peak rises from the ground, with a vertical height difference of 100 meters. The upper part is divided into two, connected by a bridge, and a temple is built on each side. One side worships Sakyamuni Buddha and the other side worships Maitreya Buddha. In the morning, red clouds and auspicious air often circle around, so it is called Hongyun Jinding.

But today, the red clouds are hard to find, the dense fog is shrouded, and the mountain peaks are really hard to see. I just took two blurred photos when the fog drifted away.

Pudu Square is a place for tourists to take a break on the top of Fanjing Mountain. After climbing here, they have already walked more than half of the way. Here, they can go to Hongyun Jinding and Mushroom Stone respectively. Chengen Temple next to Pudu Square is the center of Fanjing Mountain. The main temple is said to be the fifth largest Buddhist mountain in China.
