Beijing in November is really beautiful. This should be the best season of the year in Beijing.

In the eyes, it is full of ginkgo, sycamore, maple leaves... deep and shallow yellow and red. The sky is very blue, the blue is thorough.

It’s just that I can’t write. Walking on any street in Beijing, the slightly chilly north wind blows, and a few leaves fall, and there will be a hint of romance in my heart, which is slightly sad.

I remember many years ago, the first time I came to Beijing, it was also late autumn.

Like a regular tourist, I went to Tiananmen, to the Temple of Earth, to the Badaling Great Wall, and of course, to the Forbidden City, etc. I went through all the punch cards, time passed, and I didn’t have a deep memory. I just remember that there are so many people on the Great Wall.


I still remember that two of us ordered a whole Peking duck, but we didn’t know that we could order half a duck. We were so silly.

Later in Beijing, I lived in a courtyard house in the old city, visited Nanluoguxiang, and went to Beijing 798 Art District to see art exhibitions... This time, I will take you to the suburbs of Beijing to see the quiet autumn.

More than an hour away from Beijing by car, there is a Miyun Reservoir.

This reservoir is the largest artificial lake in Asia and the largest and only source of drinking water in the capital Beijing. It is located 13 kilometers north of Miyun County, among the mountains and hills of Yanshan Mountain.

That night I lived in Sunshine Valley in Miyun District, and it was already late when I arrived at my place of residence. The next morning, my friend said, "Let's go climbing and see the Miyun Reservoir."

That section of the mountain road is extremely beautiful, and I hope I can't go to the end. Although it was a cloudy day, the red leaves all over the trees still felt extremely gorgeous.

Climbing halfway up the mountain, I finally saw the Miyun Reservoir, and I prefer the other side of the reservoir, the sprawling mountains, and the colors of the mountains in late autumn.

The birdsong made the mountains quieter, looking at the leaves of this tree, the last nostalgia.

Maybe a gust of north wind will cause the leaves to fall. Leaving empty tree trunks, waiting for the next spring, the green will spread.


This is an interesting hiking trail in Sunshine Valley. It takes about an hour and a half by the hotel's senior guide. It is really worth climbing once.
