"You must live in Beiping in autumn. I don't know what heaven looks like, but judging from my life experience, autumn in Beiping is heaven." When I saw the autumn in Beijing, I only thought of Mr. Lao She's words, Truly a paradise on earth.

As for an instant trip, people who have always lived in the south longed for the four seasons of the year in the north, so they planned a trip to enjoy autumn within a week. Autumn in Beijing happens to be neither hot nor cold, and the length of day and night is evenly divided. The sunny weather with high sky and light clouds mixed with a little bit of coolness will always make people run wild.

We only had a four-day itinerary. Although it was only a short four days, we also watched the flag raising at Tiananmen Square, climbed the Great Wall, visited the Summer Palace, went to Sanlitun, walked through Beihai and Shichahai, and felt the "blessing" atmosphere of Prince Kung's Mansion. , listened to the prayers of the Temple of Heaven, and ate the delicacies of old Beijing.

Written in front of the guide, all attractions need to buy tickets in advance, except for the flag-raising ceremony at Tiananmen Square.

DAY1: Tiananmen Square Flag Raising & Deyun Club & Dashilan

I chose to stay near Qianmen and Wangfujing, because I decided to watch the flag raising at Tiananmen Square. If you live nearby, you can walk to Tiananmen Square, which is convenient for watching the flag raising (there are many homestays in the style of courtyard houses on Qianmen Street, so you can experience life in old Beijing)

Regarding the flag raising at Tiananmen Square, we landed at Daxing Airport around 1:00 in the morning. We dragged our luggage and queued up. We entered the square from the Zhengyangmen Arrow Tower directly opposite Tiananmen Square. We had to go through three security checkpoints, but we couldn’t find the first one. You must ask the police uncle at the security checkpoint, otherwise you will go the wrong way like us and waste time. The specific route is shown in the picture (the drawing is rough, probably like this)

Tips:

① You can find the daily flag-raising time on the Internet, Chinese-style romance, the daily flag-raising is rising to meet the sunrise;

②Be sure to wear running shoes. If you want to occupy the front row, you must run;

③Refer to the queuing time. We raised the flag at 6:55 that day. We started from the hotel to queue at around 3:00. It took about 20 minutes to walk from the hotel to the first security checkpoint;

(It was foggy that morning)

Because the early morning arrangement saw the flag raising, I didn’t sleep much, so the first day’s itinerary was relatively easy. I saw the flag raising, took a photo with Tiananmen, and took a picture of the Great Hall of the People on the RMB.

Go slowly to the front door from the road on the west side of the square

Walk slowly from the west side of the square to Qianmen Street for breakfast, and then walk to the hotel to check in. At around 2:00 pm, because the tickets for Deyun Club were booked in advance on Damai.com, the hotel departed and walked for about 15 minutes you can arrive.

Regarding the Deyun Society, as a Deyun girl, it must be the place to go. The Guangde Building in Dashilan is the place to go. There are two gardens in Dashilan, Sanqing Garden and Guangde Building. Sanqing Garden is the permanent residence of the Eighth Team , but I didn’t make a reservation. Guangde Building is the most famous and oldest time-honored brand in Beijing. It is very close to Sanqing Garden. After the performance of Deyun Society, you can stroll around Dashilan and taste the delicacies hidden in the alleys; go to Niu Street to eat mutton-boiled lamb at night, and then take the subway to the National Olympic Sports Center to see the Bird's Nest and Water Cube. These two places can only be seen outside and take pictures. The Bird’s Nest is being repaired and prepared for the Winter Olympics, so it is not open. You can stroll around and then go back to the hotel to rest.

DAY2: Mutianyu Great Wall & Summer Palace

We chose to go to Mutianyu Great Wall mainly because there are fewer people here than Badaling and the scenery is good. We booked a chartered car on Ctrip, departed from the hotel at 7 am, and arrived at about 9 am. The Great Wall, Mutianyu Duxiu, red leaves season and autumn viewing time: end of September to mid-October, early red period; mid-October to early November, full red period; early November to mid-to-late November, late red period.

The route to climb the Great Wall: the cable car is 100 one-way, 120 round-trip. Considering the follow-up itinerary, we choose the round-trip cable car and go straight to the beacon tower No. 14. There are 20 beacon towers in the Mutianyu Great Wall. Behind the 20th is the Wild Great Wall that has not been repaired and maintained. , the best scenery to take is at 16-20, because there are few people, so you can also take good photos. Because it came in November, I didn't see the red leaves, but it felt different.

The weather was very good and the photos were very good, so we went down at about one o'clock and rushed to the Summer Palace.

The Summer Palace is an excellent place to enjoy autumn. We only have half a day, but the Summer Palace is worth spending a day exploring. If you want to fully appreciate the autumn essence of the Summer Palace, you must follow the route below to avoid tasteless attractions.

Entering the North Palace Gate—Suzhou Street—Four Major Continents—Longevity Hill—Foxiang Pavilion—Jilan Pavilion—Harmonious Fun Garden—Yulan Hall—Seventeen-Arch Bridge—East Palace Gate

We only came here in the afternoon, and we arrived at the Seventeen-Arch Bridge to meet the sunset. The golden light piercing the Seventeen-Arch Bridge is really not to be missed. As long as there is sunshine, you can see it every day. Of course, it must be in the afternoon, when the sun is setting. Houhu Lake is an excellent place to enjoy autumn. After passing Suzhou Street, walk along the shore of Houhu Lake. The red and yellow banks of the lake are interlaced and colorful.

DAY3: Temple of Heaven - Prince Gong's Mansion - Beihai Park - Shichahai

The Temple of Heaven is a special altar for the emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties to worship the sky, pray for rain and pray for a good harvest. It is recommended to enter from the south gate and exit from the north gate, visit the Circular Mound, Echo Wall, Huangqiongyu, Danbi Bridge, Zhai Palace, the Hall of Prayer for Harvests and the Hall of Emperor Qian in turn, and then leave.

TIPS:

①There is a long corridor at the back of the Zhai Palace, which is very beautiful, with red walls and green tiles;

②The Temple of Heaven is also a holy place to appreciate autumn, and there is a golden avenue that is also very popular;

③ Be sure to rent an electronic explanation, so that you can clearly understand the story of each building

Take a taxi from the Temple of Heaven to Prince Kung’s Mansion, and along the way, you can chat with old Beijingers about the places that old Beijingers frequent and their favorite food.

Prince Kung’s Mansion is the most well-preserved palace complex in my country. It was originally the mansion of Heshen. It has gone through the historical process of the Qing Dynasty from its heyday to its decline. Therefore, there is a saying that “a Prince Gong’s Mansion is half of the history of the Qing Dynasty”. The whole is divided into two parts, the mansion and the garden. The Western Gate, the Daxi Building and the Houma Building are the "three wonders" in the Palace of Gong Gong. "Fu" stele. Touch the "Fu" stele to get good luck, and you can slowly experience the "Fu" house in Prince Gong's Mansion.

Prince Kung’s Mansion is in the middle of Shichahai and Beihai Park, so you can see a lot of rickshaws when you get out of Prince Kung’s Mansion. If you are interested, you can take a ride and let the old Beijingers tell the story of Beijing city. You can visit Shichahai and Beihai Park and experience Various Beijing Hutongs. When we came out of Prince Kung’s Mansion, the rickshaw masters had already left work, and they disappeared around 5:30 every afternoon; we walked around Beijing’s Hutongs on our legs.

DAY4: Jingshan Park - Sanlitun

Because we didn't book in advance, we didn't buy tickets for the Forbidden City, but our obsession with the Forbidden City made us decide to go to Jingshan Park to overlook the Forbidden City. When you come to Jingshan Mountain, you will go up to the top to see the whole view of the Forbidden City. It is just a small hill, and it only takes about 10 minutes to climb up. There will be many elderly people exercising and practicing various musical instruments on the side of the mountain road. It is a good place for old Beijingers to relax and entertain. Going down the mountain trail, you can see the turrets of the Forbidden City. It is also an excellent place to enjoy autumn and film.

The Taikoo Li business district should be the core of the Sanlitun business district. It is jointly responsible by eight world-class architects from China, Japan, Hong Kong and the United States. It is mainly a commercial center where you can go shopping and eat.

Beijing is a charming city, both classical and fashionable. Small alleys, old teahouses, trendy bar streets, and bustling commercial districts, the infinite modern elements blend with the authentic Beijing flavor of old Beijing, forming a profound cultural heritage and an orthodox yet elegant lifestyle in Beijing. Autumn in Beijing is high and crisp, with maple leaves turning red and ginkgo paving the road. This is really an excellent time to travel.
